Big shout out to Manu who lost nine pounds in seven weeks. What an accomplishment to lose so much weight in the wintertime! Manu and her husband signed up to train twice weekly with me in their house gym. The workouts consist of a progressive HIIT and strength training routine. Furthermore, Manu is taking her family out for long weekend hikes and walks daily by herself. She also adjusted her diet and cut back on sweets and after dinner snacks. Once a week she has a cheat day and enjoys her favorite ice-cream. But what once were three scoops of ice-cream, is now only one scoop and it tastes better than ever. Manu still wants to lose more weight and is confident now that she'll reach her goal weight, because she knows that her new life-style works.
