Shay is an awesome trainer! I first met her late August of last year when she worked at KeepFit10. I was impressed because even though I could not medically do any lunges and/or squats, she still had plenty of challenging exercises for me. I liked that she was genuine and answered all the questions and concerns I had. I only had two sessions with her at KeepFit10, but the exercises she showed me and the information she gave me helped me along my weight loss journey. Thankfully I was able to get in touch with Shay and she started training me because I was in a rut/plateau after 4 months on my own. I have been training with her regularly since the beginning of January 2014 and have lost over 30lbs. Each week the workouts have been different and challenging. I am amazed at what I can do verses when I started. I HATE running, however with all the progress I have made I decided I wanted to run a 5K. Shay was excited for me and encouraged me to do it. We hadn’t done much on the treadmill but definitely hit the endurance training strong. I tried my first 5k on July 5, 2014 and was timed at 30:55. I am slowly realizing the progress I have made. On Sunday I was able to put on pair of jean shorts that were 32 inch waist and went on easily with a little space in the waist. When I started this journey I was up to a 40 inch waist size. Now it really makes sense why I have to replace my wardrobe. I have also learned not to look at the weight Shay hands me or sets, it’s just a matter of doing it, then be surprised/shocked when I find out what it was. If you want to see results I would highly recommend Shay. She is genuine and knows what needs to be done in order for you to lose weight based on your abilities. If you have friends that want to lose weight too and don’t know where to start and/or having problems with seeing results, I would recommend talking with Shay to see how she can help the group attain their weight goals. Thank you Shay for all your help and continued support in my weight loss journey!
