For the past 20 years Wendy has been committed to helping and empowering others to change their lives by sharing her knowledge, excitement, and enthusiasm for health, fitness, and performance enhancement. Having been mentored directly by Dr. Mike Clark (creator of the renowned NASM Optimum Performance Training Model), Wendy has experience working with clients from all demographics—ranging from patients in physical therapy clinics, to the elite athlete, and all levels in-between. Currently, she is a consultant for multiple companies in the fitness, performance, and wellness industries and owns her own training and therapy business working with professional athletes and the region’s top CEO’s.
Wendy is passionate about sharing her perspectives from her years of experience working directly with patients, clients, and athletes. She is an Associate Professor in the Undergraduate and Graduate exercise science programs at California University of Pennsylvania (Cal U) and a Regional Master Instructor for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)—mentoring students, and current and aspiring fitness professionals on the ins and outs of the NASM OPT Model. Wendy has her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Arizona State University, her Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Cal U, her license in Massage Therapy with an emphasis in Neuromuscular Therapy and maintains her personal trainer certification, nutrition coaching certification, and performance enhancement and corrective exercise specializations through the NASM.
