Thomas Smith is a personal trainer with a story to tell! At 9 years old, he started working out because he needed to! He was the fat kid! After becoming a master trainer in the military, a trip to Iraq, and tons of fitness training, now he works out because he loves to!

He's experienced and educated, and has worked with an array of clientele, whose goals have varied; from weight loss, to sports specific strength and conditioning and even bodybuilding.

    Before I started working out, I was mentally drained from life issues. I was dealing with the loss of my father, which sent me into a depression. Being stressed about how to move on caused me to sleep and eat ice cream (which is my comfort food) daily. I had the "I don't care" attitude. I only did things I had to do. A normal day for me was to go to work, buy my kids food, and then go get into my bed, ball up and eat until I fell asleep. I had previously injured my ankle and knee so that was an excuse for being lazy.
    After visiting the facility previously, I observed the way that Coach T reflected "attention to detail" with his clients, while they were performing exercises. I also admired the way that he motivated and pushed them, not letting clients give up. I chose Coach T because he exhibited high confidence and knowledge while speaking with me. Since working out, I've noticed a change in energy. My arms have toned and I've noticed a smaller waistline. I feel more confident when walking and putting on clothes. After making this change, I do not want to revisit the person I was before. My mindset is more positive as I am now thinking long term/longevity vs. vacation.

    Three weeks ago I started training with Smithfitt. Before I started I was in a slump with my eating and activity. All the everyday business with a high school senior, I lost myself. My confidence in my body was gone. I was always tired. I just didn’t feel good at all. I was overweight and out of shape. I knew I needed a trainer to get me back on track and lead me in a good direction. I did my research and found Coach Thomas. He was well trained in his field and others gave a great review. So, I thought why not give it a try. BEST decision I ever made. Even walking out of the gym after the consultation I felt better. Day one in the gym, one on one session, I could tell he was challenging me but knew my limits. The assistance with meal planning and keeping me accountable is wonderful factors. After three weeks I have lost 10 lbs. I feel amazing inside and out. He encourages you and gives you the support and encouragement you need. I have recommended him too many friends. He is a great person and genuinely cares about the health of all his clients.

    I contacted Thomas to work with my teenage son who plays baseball. Thomas created a great program to work on strength and agility. My son has been to a couple of gyms before, but said Thomas does the best at explaining the exercise and the correct way to perform it and that his positive compassion to push through helps him achieve the goals set.
    During baseball season with all of the schedule changes, Thomas has been great to make adjustments to still get the workouts done. We will be clients for years to come.

    There comes point in your life when you know its time for a change. After having my third baby I knew I had to get fit and be healthy for my three kids. I knew to achieve my goals I needed help. I searched for personal Trainer near my home. I went through many reviews, felt like I could relate to most of Thomas clients, reading their success gave me courage to sign up. I have been working with Thomas for 7 weeks and lost 14 pounds.
    ⁃ Thomas ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries.
    ⁃ Thomas makes every session challenging.
    He makes it fun and enjoyable to train he is very motivating and encouraging.
    My fitness has increased noticeably and I have seen improvements in lifting heavier weights and generally push myself harder throughout each session.
    I have no hesitation in recommending Thomas as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals.

    I have been working with Thomas for about 2 months. I came to him with a goal to increase flexibilty, strength and explosive movements for hockey. Already I have seen a drastic improvement with my game due to my work with Thomas. He walks me through a workout teaching me proper form for all excercises. Then he will provide me with the plan for when I work out on my own. He always keeps the workouts fresh and different so you never get bored of what you're doing at the gym. Overall Thomas has helped improved me in all of the areas I wanted and more. I would recommend Thomas to anyone who would like to improve they're athletic performance and achieve a healthier lifestyle

    Thanks a lot Adam, while I bring the plan, it's always up to the client to actually do the work. Every session, you push yourself, and the results you're enjoying is largely due to the great attitude you have.
