I luckily found Thea while searching for a personal trainer for my mother who had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. From the moment I talked to her I felt she was a perfect fit for my mom. She has helped my mother develop physical strength by researching and providing a personal, ever demanding program. Her warm and supportive nature has encouraged my mother to commit to exercising and challenging herself daily. Her visits twice a week allows my mother's program to be evaluated regularly and adjusted wherever necessary. Thea's commitment to her own education and research has allowed her to develop an exercise program which addresses my mother's own personal needs. We feel extremely lucky to have found this smart, motivating, caring individual.

Thea Basis has been working with my elderly mother for nearly six months now. My mother had lost much of her cognitive function due to a stroke and is living in an assisted living home. I hired Thea to help encourage and maintain my mother's walking ability. I did not expect to see my mother's cognitive functions improve so quickly. As her physical condition improved, so did her mental acuity. I have watched my mother become herself again, thanks to her dedicated work with Thea. I would highly recommend Thea.
