Teresa Wanger

I began my career in fitness over 12 years ago in Beaufort, SC after our 3rd of many military moves. I realized I needed a career that was not only flexible to move with me but it also allowed me to help others reach their fitness goals. Helping others through fitness is my passion. It energizes me, fills me with life to see people make progress and learn to live a healthier lifestyle. Most recently, I was the Boot Camp and TRX instructor to hundreds of service members, civilian contractors and military dependents at the Naval Station Guantanamo in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where I was known as the only instructor who could make getting up at six a.m. worthwhile. See you at the gym or on the road! Happy Training!!

I take a variety of fitness classes and Terie's boot camp class was by far one of the most challenging. She is a great motivator and has very creative workouts. She is always great at walking around the class to check on form and will also provide many modifications for the various exercises. I think it was a great work out for all levels and I always left exhausted but energized!

Thank you so much Lisa. I miss seeing you and your daughter in my classes, more than anything, I miss adding a little extra weight to your push ups ;-)

I try her amazing boot camp classes and forever strong, I love it since that first time I tried it. Her personality motivated me to keep going even when I felt weak doing push ups, she is amazing instructor and friend. Miss her classes and her!!

Cecily I miss your craziness walking into class after running your long miles. Always so much fun to have you there dancing to my beats.

I joined Terie's bootcamp in 2014 and it was pure torture. :) She always did a great job of changing up our routines which kept my body sweating/burning calories/in pain. I was so happy with her abilities that I suggested my mother hire her as a personal trainer. Terie was so wonderful with my mother's limitations and was still so creative with the workouts she developed. After about six month my mum completed her first 5k! Terie really changed her life!

I MISS you mum so much. I have never worked with someone with limitations who worked so hard at doing everything and then more. She was such great company and a pleasure to work with. You Miss Erin, worked your heart out each and every time. Really miss you both.

I tried Teri's strength class almost 3 years ago. My husband had recently passed away and I needed something to make me feel better. Teri welcomed me with open arms. Her class was not only a great workout but she made it fun! She made sure all participants were safe with modifications if they needed them. She also pushed us to achieve our best always. She would explain what we were doing and what muscle group we were working. She mixed up our workouts to keep us on our toes. She gets to know her students so you don't feel like just another body in class. We loved her and missed her when she moved out of the area.

Oh how I miss my FS ladies in the front row :-) Always strong, always working hard, and always lifting my spirits to new heights.

Terie was my strength class instructor for over 2 years until she recently moved away. I can't praise her enough for all she did to motivate me to work hard and encourage me to do more than I thought possible all while having fun. She's very knowledgable about fitness and how our bodies work as well as eating healthy. All of her students at One Life Fitness in Burke, VA loved and I know her students wherever else she goes will feel the same.

"Brown eyed girl" I can't play this song and a few of our latin favorites without thinking of you, Diane, Jackie and Becky. A little piece of my heart still belongs to all of you. Thank you for giving me such an amazing tour and friendship for a lifetime.
