I am 78 years old and in the best condition of my life. I have been seeing Susan Fink for private training twice a week since November, 2016 when I moved to Los Angeles, My training goals were to improve my strength, balance and endurance -- all of which had declined as a result of a stressful year

Since starting the training, my strength has improved about 300%, my balance has improved to the point where I can finally do a Warrior 3 and I am now at the point of doing exercises I never thought I could do like pushups on the TRX, stepping quickly on and off a step for 1 minute, lifting heavy weights, etc. Unlike some trainers I have had in the past, she watches closely to monitor my form so I don't injure myself and to make sure I don't get too much out of breath. She personalizes each workout, increasing or decreasing the intensity depending on my ability on that day. I plan to continue training with Susan.

Susan is a dedicated instructor whose interest in 'Functional Aging' got my attention. She is totally in tune with the critical needs of balance and flexibility and how to attain and maintain them. She gives her all in class and, in turn, expects students to do their best. I myself am not a natural-born exerciser by any means. My clumsiness startles me! But her patience and willingness to keep working on improvements, however small, keeps me coming back.

Training with Susan made a huge difference in managing my injuries. I know how to get in and out of a chair using my leg muscles in a squat and how to get in and out of bed, using the strength in my arms and core. I'm very grateful. Thank you. Fitness matters for everything.

I really enjoy exercising with Susan. She has the ability to be easygoing on the one hand while creating a balanced and serious workout for each person in the class. She encourages everyone to challenge themselves while watching out for their specific weaknesses and their form. It is evident that she takes her students seriously by preparing for each lesson with new ideas and varied equipment, in turn her students perform to their best ability while having a great time together.

Sue is a great trainer. She pushes you to do better without barking orders at you. She is always learning new moves from conferences so the workout never gets boring. She is also a pleasant person to be around, so the workouts fly by.
