I love my work and I am passionate about assisting clients toward improved wellness. In my work with clients, my emphasis is on client empowerment and education. Oftentimes Tai Chi and mindfulness exercises are incorporated into my fitness program designs to assist in balance training, coordination, and stress management; key elements for any healthy lifestyle in these rapidly changing times. I particularly enjoy working with fitness novices, seniors, and those with special needs. Quality fitness education should be affordable to those who motivated and ready to make changes towards a healthier lifestyle. In order to meet this need, I do offer a sliding fee scale. I have a variety of options available: private, partner, small group and workshop sessions, in the gym, studio, or home visits- whatever is best for the client's needs.

    I took Tai Chi lessons with Stella a few years ago and was charmed by her warm and compassionate heart, and appreciated her professionalism and depth of knowledge. About 8 months ago I hired her as my personal fitness coach. I am in my sixties and need support keeping on track with rebuilding/maintaining both my physical and psychological health. Stella's coaching is a blessing, and a great investment in my health. Stella is competent, personable, reliable, encouraging, and has the credibility of someone who practices what she teaches. I am so grateful for her.

    I began working with Stella a few months ago when I decided that I needed to take control of my health and fitness. I chose to continue working with her because of her positive attitude, wealth of knowledge and balanced, wellness-oriented approach to fitness. I am healthier than I've ever been and have gone from someone who loathed working out (and literally had never been to a gym) to someone who is confident in my abilities and stronger than ever before. She has helped me to make exercise a part of my routine that I actually enjoy and look forward to- something I never thought possible!     Stella is very dedicated to my heath and well being. And that's a good thing because sometimes she's the only thing keeping me going! She really knows what she's about and she walks the walk. She has given me a solid foundation of knowledge about the basic and now intermediate functions of my body, enabling me to know my limits, when I can push them, and when I need to stop so I don't hurt myself. She gives me interesting exercises that obviously correlate to my goals, and that I can do at home or at the gym. Her approach is very positive and supportive, so I can feel good about what I've accomplished, even on a bad day. I am in better shape and more in tune with my body than I ever was before I met Stella. I highly recommend Stella's training to anyone and everyone. You won't be disappointed.
