In the last year and half in working with Skip, he has helped me completely change my body. I had body perception issues and he's helped me be and feel strong and athletic. It's incredibly freeing to not hate your body 24/7. With his knowledge of what it takes to increase metabolism, burn fat, and increase muscle I have also learned to eat differently and feel good about eating which I hadn't been able to do in 28 years. He has taught many fitness moves that I could do on my own but it doesn't compare to when he pushes me past the point of where I think I can go which is exhilarating that I'm capable of so much more! I hope to work with Skip for years to come in order to stay strong for a long time.

This spring, I had the opportunity to train with Skip for a total of six weeks doing a Spartan 300. I was amazed at how much stronger I became, how much weight I lost and even more pleased with the % of fat burned. The workouts were intense but not too difficult. Skip took the time to modify exercises to prevent any harm to my shoulder. His encouragement kept me going when I thought I couldn't do another rep. He is a great trainer with a wonderful sense of humor. After the spring session, I signed up for another 6 week workout with him this summer. Much different but every bit as challenging and fun. What else can I say - Skip is a fabulous trainer.
It's easy when you have highly motivated people like Deb! She doesn't just do the workouts; she approaches each one with enthusiasm ... she "brings it" to each session.

Skip is a knowledgeable, skilled professional in fitness training. He brings a personality, humor and intelligence to the daily task of making you a healthier person. I am a 65 year old male and work with Skip twice a week to stay vigorous, strong and balanced.
Skip is respectful, warm, and professional and explains things carefully. I have some old injuries that can flare up, and Skip pays attention to that to assure I don't re-injure them. The workouts are challenging, but Skip stays clear and encouraging, and I always feel better when we're done. He'll push me as far as I can go, but it feels like a partnership. I'm feeling the difference.
Skip is a unique and skilled trainer. He has the ability to hear what you want, give you what you need and help you accomplish the goals you thought were out of reach. Skip knows when and how to push and to pull. Each time I leave a session with Skip, I feel stronger and more energized to continue the work I need to do. I intend to continue with Skip as long as I can!
