Shellee Eudy

I have been working in the fitness industry almost 30 years. I am passionate about helping others feel better,
in whatever circumstance of life they are facing. Both of my parents were stroke victims, so I know how important it is to have a trainer who can help you, once you are released from rehab.

I helped implement the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program at the YMCA(Shadowbend). This is a free program offered to cancer survivors through the YMCA.

I have completed the Rehab Exercise Specialist Course at Baylor School of Sports Medicine, and have completed the Cancer Exercise Specialist Advanced Program, as well as the Pink Ribbon Program training. I have a heart for cancer survivors, and created The Restoration Pilates based post rehab program for breast cancer survivors in 2009 and offer a version of this class at the Shadowbend YMCA, and at my home Pilates Studio. This program has helped women through recovery all around the United States.

Quality of life in breast cancer survivors can diminish due to treatment. As the cure rate rises, RESTORATION is a program that may hasten recovery and complete the definition of CURE: to restore to health; to make whole again.

The goal of the program is to restore mobility, flexibility and strength to affected areas; lower the risk of recurring disease (by encouraging exercise); improve energy; raise self esteem and decrease stress and loneliness.

The Restoration program takes into account the necessity of prevention of pooled lymphatic fluids. The diaphragmatic breathing used in Pilates improves circulation of lymphatic fluids, boosts feelings of increased energy and assists with relaxation.

Because Pilates is a gently form of exercise, the nature of the program lends itself through all phases of treatment. It is a wonderful way to regain core strength for those who have experienced abdominal and back muscular changes due to surgery.

This program was designed to enrich the life of each survivor seeking to restore her place in her family and the world. I hope you will find it impactful on your current

My training focus is functional. My goal is to develop exercise programs which allow individuals to perform the activities of daily life more efficiently and with more energy. If these programs are performed correctly, they will lead to better joint mobility and stability, create more efficient motor patterns, therefore potentially reducing the risk of injury.

Data is a double-edged sword. For one thing, data is extremely valuable and allows you to learn how to improve ads and connect more effectively with your customers. The not-so-good side of data is that it's incredibly difficult and time-consuming to extract actionable insights from it.
