    Ruth is an amazingly talented trainer. I came to her completely out of shape not knowing my way around the gym equipment. Not only did she teach me the proper way to use all of the equipment, she gave me the confidence to use it on my own. Ruth always kept me motivated and excited to come back each time knowing I was getting into better shape /health. She is extremely knowledgeable and offers nothing but support for her clients. I'm a returning client multiple times over.

    I highly recommend Ruth as a trainer. I'm not easily motivated when it comes to the gym, but Ruth was able to push me to do more than I thought I could. That's not to say that she's a drill sergeant though. I liked working with Ruth, and perhaps more importantly, I liked the results I got from working with her.

    Ruth is really great at hearing your goals and giving you the tools to accomplish them. I was trying to add muscle to a thinner physique. Ruth helped me get comfortable with free weights and proper form. She also taught me routines that would compliment my figure as a woman. After my sessions with Ruth, I feel extremely happy with the results. I've never felt stronger or more confident about the way I look. I plan to check in with her again in the future to see how I can take the next step in my routines.

    I started working with Ruth when I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. She tailored my training sessions around my health issues. Ruth was also helpful because I was very body conscious and wary of walking into a gym. Her training regimen has helped me drop 25lbs and keep it off for 2 years. I know that's not a lot, but I wasn't that big to start with. I love my workouts with Ruth and instead of dreading going to the gym, I now look forward to it. She gets and keeps me motivated to do my work-outs and we have fun too.

    Ruth is simply AWESOME!!!! When I hired Ruth as my first ever personal trainer, I was 39 years old, 5' 6" tall and weighted around 210 lbs. My pant size was 42. She was very patient with me and gently guided me through the process. She was firm with her demands about workout (6 days a week Cardio) and 3 days a week of paid personal (weight) training sessions. The days when I would be doing weights, I was to do only 30 minutes of cardio. She emphasized the importance of diet along with the workouts and cardio. I loved that she talked about making this a lifestyle and not just a crash course in workout. Workouts with Ruth were a blast! I remember all the hilarious conversations we used to have in between different weight training exercises. 30 minutes of weightlifting got me tired. Not a single boring minute! Within a span of eight months, I was down to 170 lbs (40 lbs down) and a pant size of 34 (I also ran a 5K!). I have moved away from Cleveland permanently in May 2015 - I really miss having Ruth as my trainer.
