As the owner of Fitness Vitality®, Rosy brings 30 years of personal fitness experience.
Rosy was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and moved to Dallas, Texas in 1991. She owned her first gym in Mexico at the age of 18 and it was the first gym in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico that combined weight and Aerobics training. What started as a dream with 1 student; successfully grew to 50+ students in six months.
Life changed for Rosy in 1987, when her twin boys were born. She has since remarried and has a daughter and two step-sons. In addition, one of her twins has cerebral palsy and at birth, the doctors doubted that he would ever walk. It was with faith as a mother and her love of exercise and fitness that motivated her to help her disabled son. She worked day after day with him until he was walking by himself. Disabilities are not something that we should let stop us but instead see as a challenge to overcome with love, understanding, and fitness.
Rosy's mom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2001. During their battle with Parkinson’s, Rosy realized that the best medicine was physical activities such as dancing, boxing, and bike riding. Rosy has developed an exercise regimen that made a difference in the life of her mother and can help you too. There is no cure for Parkinson’s today but a better quality of life can be achieved.
In 2014, Rosy’s mom passed away from Glioblastoma. This has only strengthened Rosy’s desire to help those struggling with day to day activities.
Together, we will build a relationship that can help overcome obstacles and make each day a little better.

Rosy has been my preferred Zumba instructor for 3 years. As a "lefty", my dance experience has been embarrassing at best. After trying two other Zumba instructors, I finally caught on with a passion! Now, I do Zumba six days a week, and can even get through a Master Zumba class.

I have attended Rosy's Zumba classes at NRH Center for 2 or 3 years. I always look forward to her classes! Not only do you get a rigorous workout with popular Latin music, but you also have great fun. Rosy has such a friendly personality and adds unique elements to the class that leave you smiling. I am so grateful for her skill and experience. I am also thankful for her sharing workouts on Zoom during the pandemic for those of us unable to go to the gym during this time. She truly cares about her students' achieving their fitness goals!

Rosy has been my Zumba Gold instructor at Hurst Recreation Center for several years. She does a great job motivating me & makes it super fun to work out. She's always very friendly & I look forward to each class. After the Hurst Rec Center closed due to Covid, she continued to offer classes on-line which I really appreciate.

Rosy has worked with my wife for about 5 years, first at the HSAC and now at our home. She is always patient with her but also focused on helping her maintain her strength and coordination. Rosy has been a blessing to us. We highly recommend her to you as a personal trainer and as a person.

Rosy has been my fitness instructor for 3 years. I truly love her workouts! Not because I'm into sweating and working hard, but because she makes exercising so much fun, She is enthusiastic and very motivating. She uses music and changes up her routines to keep me interested and challenged. I feel she is the perfect instructor for anyone because she will make modifications to her routine so everyone can participate. Rosy is upbeat and always smiling. She keeps me moving and I am so grateful for her knowledge and years of experience.
