Rory Cox is a San Francisco-based personal trainer, specializing in corrective exercise and nutrition management. He is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Roanoke College.
Developing an interest in health and fitness at a young age, Rory began studying nutrition, physiology and strength training as part of a middle school Science Fair project. Throughout high school and college, he would continue his enthusiasm studying plyometrics, endurance training, and body sculpting in his free time. After college, Rory coached high school lacrosse and served as the team's strength and conditioning coach. Today, he shares his lifetime of experience and passion with his personal clients and group classes.
In his free time, Rory enjoys reading, yoga, basketball, walking, biking, eating healthy and competing in the World Series of Poker. He won LAPT Mexico in 2009, and has an impressive poker resume, as well.
