Ronald Marshall is a self-driven, highly dedicated professional to the fitness field, to the people who work around him, with him and to himself. He embodies what a true leader and educator should promote through leading by example and living the lifestyle that he teaches. Ron is well rounded with over 12 years in the physical fitness world. The "Never Quit" attitude he possesses is exciting and contagious. Ron has proven over the years to be able to balance and succeed at any given task. Throughout college and United States Army he consistently has proved himself by achieving and going above the standards to complete the mission. While in the military he successfully trained over 50 soldiers and selected only 3 teams of 6 out of 50 to compete in the Best Warrior Competition. He competed himself in the Iraq Best Warrior Challenge Competition. The competition included completing as many pushups and sit ups in 5 minutes; 100meter letter carry; 12mile ruck march with 65lbs on my back; M19 and 50cal. disassemble and reassemble; M16, M9, and a Squad Automatic Weapon shooting qualification; Humvee tire change; and a 2 mile run. At the end, all teams he trained received 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the competition in 2009. He finished in top 3 out of 150 soldiers at the 3D Sustainment Command Warrior Challenge Competition in 2010. He has been selected to train countless personnel in Modern Army Combative, training over 500 hours in Level 1 and Level 2 grappling. Ron has developed nutrition plans, designed individual workouts and extreme training sessions to focus on six other soldiers, who he mentored and trained, successfully completed selection for Special Forces Assessment and Selection Course in April 2011. Only 10% of 10,000 candidates were selected that year to become part of the most elite military force in the United States Army. His exceptional ability to plan, organize and execute has made him successful in his work, family, social and spiritual life. Ron has trained countless bodybuilders, who of which all are nationally qualified.
Ron has a passion for fitness and a drive and determination to get everyone he meets to reach their fitness goals while challenging them to exceed their expectations. Ron’s principles are Purpose, Direction and Motivation. A purpose to get fit, a direction of how to get fit and a setting of personal goals, while providing motivation when you come with no motivation.
So remember adversity weakens the weak and strengthens the strong. Tough times don't last, but tough people do. The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you have to put up with the rain. So put aside the excuses and step up to the challenge.
