Mental fitness is just as and even more important as physical fitness. During your daily consultations we will find out why you are having trouble with your health and fitness as we break down a game plan tailored to you. I understand the social pressures and mental stigmas that are currently in our society and how to incorporate core thought patterns to intermingle with your current behaviors and logic, which will in turn get you to your goals. Your brain and body need to be challenged to create this accountability and lifestyle. Changing your behaviors is secondary to creating new thought patterns that will allow the changes to occur without the guilt, shame and/or internal punishment. This takes a seasoned instructor who is up to date on the most current fitness, nutritional, and mental research fused with an energetic, charged individual who teams up with you to achieve what YOU want! Since 1998, I have toured nationwide as a certified personal trainer helping hundreds achieve optimum health, fitness, and performance. I have coached those who have sustained injuries, working concurrently with their physical therapy and also after its completion. Helping people is my passion and this is a perfect opportunity to do just that. During training I love to work on core strength and stability. I believe that working from the inside out is what helps the body form a controlled stable environment, minimizes injury, and maximizes overall strength. My expertise lies in the areas of interval training, cross conditioning, boxing, kickboxing, self defense, plyometrics, core and resistance training. I have acquired my education through Baylor Sports Medicine Institute (BSMI), the American College of Integrative Medicine (ACIM), International Fitness Association (IFA) and the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). This has given me the knowledge and structure to guide his clients through their individual challenges. All I require is a positive attitude with a mind open to change or finding out why it’s difficult to make that leap. My main focus is about the individual's goals are, not what my goals are for you. We will walk down the path together and fight forward. I understand that as a personal trainer, you must have the knowledge and emotional intelligence so that clients can consistently remain motivated. One of this biggest compliments besides results and being knowledgable in nutrition is that my workouts are never the same which keeps the mind entertained and keeps the body guessing.
