Gina Fontaine

Littleton, CO 80127

Gina Fontaine is a mover, and she inspires others to move in the way that brings them joy and freedom. Sets and repetitions are taking on much less meaning for this 20 year veteran fitness professional, as she discovers that humans just need to move more. 20% of the population enjoys the structure, organization and routine of traditional fitness programs. Those are the Americans who currently exercise regularly. Gina is currently creating a movement that appeals to the other 80 percent who know they need to move but the “gym” thing is not for them.

She also specializes in corrective and restorative exercise and takes a team approach to working with physical therapists and chiropractors to provide a continuum of care for individuals healing from injury and muscular imbalance.

The center of Gina’s life is her husband and 3 children. Her entrepreneurial aspirations are built upon her desire to integrate her family into what she does. Her own children have inspired the creation of her prenatal fitness certification program, Power of Pregnancy, and a movement class for kids called KidRhythms.

Gina’s love for movement is contagious and she has scarcely found a person she could not inspire to move! She is a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor and she offers private and group classes in clients’ homes and places of business.

Gina has been amazing to work with this past year. I started with her when I was pregnant with my first and wanting to stay in shape with prenatal yoga. She then introduced me to her Power of Pregnancy course and it was well worth it! She was able to give me specific tools to help me with my pregnancy and with previous back surgery I have a special situation and she always gave me exercises that would be safe for me to do. Now that i have had my baby and I am 4 months postpartum, I am having Gina come to my house for private personal training sessions to help me get my body back in shape! Thank you Gina for being so wonderful and here's to getting in shape!

I have known Gina for almost ten years and she is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. When it comes to training, I need help for back pains and shoulder pains, as well as general fitness. Whenever I see Gina I invariably feel much improved after a few consecutive sessions. Gina always finds the right exercises for me. For example, a few weeks ago, I went to see her after an absence of a few weeks and I could hardly move at all. I had to leave after 15 minutes. However, after three more sessions, I felt and walked much better. She had me do just the things I needed to do. My wife was very impressed.

It's been a pleasure to know Gina all these years, and hopefully there will be many more such years.

I am SO grateful I connected with Gina! I am taking prenatal yoga classes with her and they are wonderful! I feel inspired, energized, and more grounded in my body after class. I plan to take more classes with Gina after my baby is born (baby and me yoga, and stroller fitness classes). She is helping me to gain confidence and learn about the birth process. I love the way she caters to people's individual needs, and offers assistance. She is also great at creating a community by bringing the class together. I highly recommend Gina!

Gina is absolutely amazing! I met her in a prenatal yoga class she was teaching. She taught me so much about how to engage my stomach muscles, pelvic floor and how to use movement to ease some of the pains of pregnancy. She is patient, kind and as hands on as you would like her to be. She has helped me with a lot of issues specific to my body. For example I asked her if there was anything I could do for my back pain. I had tried everything (massage, braces, support belts, etc.) and she helped me adjust my posture which significantly helped more than any of the other braces, belts and massages. She has also helped nurture me emotionally alongside her physical yoga teachings. When I entered her class I was terrified of my pregnant body; now, as I leave (due any day now) I feel much more confident then I ever imagined. She taught me how to trust and strategically use my body; I am going to have a better birthing process because of her! I didn't take any other pregnancy classes; she was everything I needed and more! Words can't express my gratitude!

I met Regina in early 2011, a few months after a virus had completely destroyed my middle and inner ear. In the months following my illness, I had to walk with the assistance of my wife and then a cane. This was devastating for me. I had participated in triathlons in recent years and now walking was my challenge. My oldest daughter was going to get married the coming fall and my wish was to be able to dance with her at her wedding. I had worked with a physical therapist which helped a little bit.
Fortune was kind to me in meeting Regina and asking her to develop a program for me. She like many trainers has a strong background in her area of expertise. What set her apart in my opinion is her intuitive skills to personalize a program to the needs of someone like me. She took me past the basic balance therapy I was given by the physical therapist. She developed balance exercises that built upon each other, continuing to help me not only walk without a cane but to have that father – daughter dance at the wedding. Somethings I still can not do such as ride a road bike with clips but Regina helped me achieve a quality of life that I feared I would never have again. I owe a lot to her.
