Peg Burns

Naples, FL 34104

I have a major in Health, minor in Nutrition. I like to work with people that challenge me as a trainer. If the will is there anything can happen. I want people to know that the best you can be is personal, not a comparison to others. We are all individuals that have different needs in order to attain our fitness goals. Born in 1959, I have been a successful triathlete, top women runner in Mi winning several road races and swimming events. I was a scholarship athlete in college and enjoy anything outdoors. My clients range from the medically complicated to the professional athlete If you can make a difference in the quality of a life, it IS the ultimate reward. Peg Burns

Peg Burns has been my trainer for the past five years, is competent and knows how to create a work out that works for your body. Peg is good at motivating me during the workout and to eat healthy. I would recommend Peg to anyone who is serious about getting fit.

Peg Burns is one of the best trainers ever. I needed a "tune-up" and needed to rework my routine to emphasize balance and bone building as well as strength training. She showed me how to maintain my flexibility and expanded my use of Bosu, medicine balls and resistance bands along with traditional barbells and dumbells. She balances a tough work ethic (you doing the work!) with a wonderful sense of humor and loads of encouragement.

I needed help with my swimming so I could compete in the Grand Haven Tri. Peg got me there. We did the swim about two months before the event and when I completed it she told me to do it again. I thought I was going to die. But she was the coach and I did the swim again and did it faster that the first time. She is very knowledgeable on how the body works and wants your form to be perfect.

I went into working with a personal trainer with apprehension, but the moment I met Peg all that disappeared! She is so down to earth and knowledgable. She took me from a couch potato to someone who could job farther than i ever thought possible. My weight went down and my strength increased. I learned to enjoy lifting weights and pushing myself to my limits, all the while laughing with Peg. I would definitely recommend her.
