Although I have been active my entire life, these last few years I have been more focused on my family and my career.....putting fitness on the back burner. I decided to take the "plunge" a couple of months ago (with the encouragement of a friend) and signed up for my first Zumba class....which happened to be with Patrick. I was nervous upon arrival, but I felt at home the moment I walked in the door. After only 1 class, I was hooked! Patrick's contagious enthusiasm and genuine spirit continues to inspire me to push myself farther than I thought I could go. Patrick's classes allow me to "check out" of my hectic everyday schedule and focus on ME for an hour....which makes for a more physically and mentally healthy mommy and wife!

I am grateful to have found a place like Heart In Soul! Thank you Patrick for being just plain AWESOME!

There are not enough words to express how much I appreciate all that Patrick and Heart in Sol are doing for people each and every day. Though I came to Heart In Sol already “actively exercising,” Patrick's Zumba class not only allowed me to continue a physically healthy life but also a mentally healthy life. Patrick's Zumba classes are the kind of classes that you look forward to all day, smile the entire 60 minutes he is making you sweat, and then are amazed with how fast time flied while you were having FUN. It makes me happy knowing I am doing my body good, but for my mind and my heart, it truly is filling a void that I didn’t know I had.

I loved Heart in Sol so much, I wanted to share the love. Now, my husband is a Fit Club member and regularly attends Patrick's morning Boot Camp. (I've never seen him jump out of bed at 5:00am quite this fast before!) And it truly is a family affair as my 8 year old daughter attends the kids Zumbatomic classes that Heart in Sol offers.

There's something for everyone at Heart in Sol, and I am so grateful for Patrick and his fabulous staff for all their hard work and dedication each and every day of the week!

I thought I would feel intimidate the first time I came to a Zumba class. I hadn't exercised regularly in years and have a lot of weight to lose. I didn't have to worry. Patrick made me feel welcome the minute I walked in. He is friendly, kind and wants you to feel at home. His talent, professionalism, enthusiasm is inspiring and you can see the joy and love that he puts into leading the class. If you are considering any kind of fitness/self improvement you absolutely must take one of Patrick's many varied classes. You will not be disappointed

Just about 2 years ago @ almost 290 lbs and in stroke zone because of my consistent high blodd pressure, I knew it was finally time to lose weight once and for all. I started going to the gym and eating better. The weight started to come off but not as much as i would have hoped. I saw a bootcamp groupon and decided to purchase one. I had never worked out with a group before so I thought it woudl be fun. I strolled into Hunter School field one dark Monday morning and I've been forever changed since. On day one we had to run around the entire track 5 1/3 times. Death would have been welcome because I knew dying was easier than trying to run another step. Sit up, push up and running on the first day...REALLY MR. PATRICK. Well 2 years, over a dozen bootcamp classes, 3 yes 3 biggest losers wins, and at least 80 pounds later, I give you my testimony that bootcamp WORKS only if you work it. Yes, you have to show up, you have to change your poor eating habits and you have to keep active on off days. The best thing I find is when I have to be accountable to my wonderful camp mates who have supported me from day one. When I'm on my last lap around the track and know i'm gonna pass out, that's when they run out to the track and run the last lap with me cheering me on all the way to the finish line. We support each other that way and it's genuine. All you have to do is remember your first day and how hard it was. I can now jump rope, jog those 5.5 laps, do real sits ups, real push ups and even muster a few decent burpee's which I will always hate. Zumba is my new friend too. Don't waste another minute thinking about if you should do it and just DO IT!!! Thanks Patrick for helping make 50 years look real HOTT ! LOL
