Nikki is the greatest trainer I have ever had... Don't tell my wife, because she is a trainer as well (That's why I am anonymous). What sets her apart his her ability to keep you and your body on its toes. We rarely recycled workouts, I always pushed my body, but never got hurt- she was always very conscious of not putting me at risk of getting injured.
The efficiency of her workouts was also amazing- her 30 minute workouts, put me in better shape then when I would work out for 1-2 hours a day by myself (prior to Nikki). Unfortunately I had to move away from Athens, and have not found anyone that can fill her training shoes and sarcastic smile. If you ever have the opportunity to train with her... jump at the chance!

Nikki is a wonderful trainer and group instructor. Her TRX classes are the best, most challenging, innovative, and fun I have ever taken anywhere. Her cycle classes are amazing. Nikki has a way of making you push yourself to your physical limits without ever yelling in your face. She is incredibly intense without ever making you feel bad about your own abilities. She will meet you at your fitness level and help you reach goals that you never thought were possible!!!

I have been training with Nikki for over a year and got amazing results! she is so competent, and knows how to motivate me. the whole workout is always a challenge, and it's personalized to the needs of my body.
she truly is the best and if you can, also take her spinning class, it is so hard, but soooo good!
she is an inspiration and truly cares about the success of any of her clients. Nikki rocks!

In the summer of 2008, shortly before my 64th birthday, I decided I wanted to start working out. I knew I needed a professional to teach me about strength training and overall fitness; so when I joined the Omni, I signed up to start personal training. Two days later, I walked into the gym and found Nikki waiting for me at the front desk. I’ll always remember her greeting---not so much her actual words, but her tone, the attitude beneath her words. In a split second I knew I’d like her. She was genuine, calm, and thoughtful. And when we started my first training session, she didn’t treat me like an “older person who has never worked out.” I’m about 3 decades older than Nikki, but had I been 20, 40, or 80, Nikki would have been the same. These days it’s uncommon to find such a grounded sensibility, such equanimity, in anyone anywhere. I was lucky enough to find it in my trainer!
Nikki’s reputation as a great trainer grows out of this inclusive “equal-opportunity” response to people. Through listening and observing closely, she sets up routines that meet her clients’ specific needs. Yet she never “pampers” her clients, even those of us way older than she is. She just calmly assures us that “you can do it.” So we do! At the same time, she teaches us how to listen to our bodies and how to modify exercises & routines. In her TRX classes, for example, she demonstrates variations for challenging exercises so that even a person with limited upper body strength can do the exercises and benefit from the workout.
And her stellar reputation also derives from Nikki’s unflagging determination to keep challenging herself---through her own training goals, through continuing her education in special courses, and through staying abreast of the latest research on exercise, anatomy, physiology, and nutrition. Her clients are the happy recipients of all the hard work she puts in after she leaves the gym each day.
Walking was the extent of my exercise before I met Nikki. Now, at 67, I’m in TRX, cycling, strength training, and yoga classes every week. I still like to walk, but it’s no longer my only choice. Before I met Nikki, I’d feel tired at the mere mention of intense cardio workouts. Now, I look forward to those workouts because they give me energy and stamina that lasts. And most important, before training with Nikki, I’d never have believed I could do some of the really tough things I do today. Nikki helps me overcome the old paradigm that I’m limited because of my age and past experiences. She has helped me set in motion a completely different way of responding to challenges—physical challenges and psychological ones. Instead of limits, I see possibilities everywhere.

Two years ago I started training with Nikki - I was a "gym virgin" - never been to one, didn't know how anything worked. She has been patient, intense and focused - always challenging me.
She is always willing to work with what I feel needs to be worked on. She also comes up with very intense workouts to make sure I'm not getting complacent. She supports workouts with additional educational info like - different warm-up exercises, nutritional information and marathon training. I look forward to my training time, I'm in better shape than I've ever been.
Her spin class is amazing - great music, and as has been mentioned - kicks your ass.
I'm often aching - but in a good way!
