Michelle Sanchez

Columbus, GA 31909

I had always yearned for a career in helping others achieve their fitness goals, but life, as it does for most of us, took me down a different path. In December of 2008, after being involved in a car accident which left me with severe injuries requiring multiple surgeries, and permanent conditions, I decided to use my experience and follow my life-long passion to begin studying to become a personal trainer. I studied to be that gap between a physical therapist and a personal trainer. As of February 2012, I have tried to be a beacon of promise for all of those I come in contact with. I aim to have my clients experience results far exceeding their expectations.

Picture this...it's April 2016 and you are told you are a bridesmaid that will have to wear a baby blue dress to your sister's wedding. Only problem is you weigh 245 pounds and you are the biggest bridesmaid! That was me and it was very hard for me to agree to be a bridesmaid, but what other choice did I have it was my sister's wedding.

That is when I decided I needed help and began the journey. I once read a self help book that mentioned how a professional trainer was the best thing she ever tried, so I found a list of freelance trainers (because there was no way I was going to pay the outrageous price my gym quoted me at) and picked out Michelle Sanchez. Her face to me looked genuine and sweet, so I messaged her and she quickly replied and had set up a free consultation. I instantly knew she would be the one that could help me and she did! She helped me lose 10 lbs for my sisters wedding although not much at the time. It really did help me cope with the baby blue dress. I felt pretty that night.:) Fast forward to the present time...I have now lost in all 100 lbs and there is absolutely no doubt it was because of Michelle.

Michelle believed in me when I did not believe in myself. She taught me so much and celebrated my weightloss victories. Even when the scale was not going down she would cheer me up by informing me that my inches had gone down. I never got bored because she always switched up my routine. I could not believe how many different excercises she knew! Michelle has not only trained me she has also trained my entire family and continues to do so via Skype with my husband. As for me, Michelle helped me learn how to take care of myself. I stayed with Michelle for two years and when I was ready to do it on my own it was a bit emotional, but a very rewarding feeling. I love Michelle, she is now like family to us. I will always be grateful to Michelle, she helped me change my life and she continues to help others. One thing I recommend is to dedicate at least a year with a trainer, because it really does help for someone to show you how to workout and to keep you accountable.

I cannot say enough good things, and 5 stars are not enough. She has been stellar in all respects, demonstrating superb knowledge, awareness and attention to my individual health concerns and fitness goals. Her calm demeanor and positive attitude provide an atmosphere for accomplishment without stress. Progress has been much better than I expected.

It is no exaggeration to say that for me, she has been an absolute blessing.

I’ve been training with Michelle for over 2 years now. My wife and started as a New Year’s gift to ourselves, working out 3 times per week. From the beginning, Michelle was focused on helping us to achieve our goal of becoming healthier. Even though my wife and I were at different levels of strength/fitness, Michelle worked with us both together but adjusted to us individually.

Though maybe not at the time, I do appreciate her challenging us to push ourselves and motivate us. We both have a busy, changing schedule; she is extremely flexible to work with. She changes the exercises/routines and keeps it fresh. Every workout session is not the same and that makes it more enjoyable.

She stresses that quality, form and technique are more important than quantity. When my knees are sore and aching, she tailors the workout to minimize any further pain. She’s always on-time and communicative if anything should arise with scheduling.

I believe she is one of the most committed and dedicated trainers around. Her professionalism and desire to help people is her strength. Besides improving overall physical health, flexibility, and strength, she has helped with mental strength and stress reduction as well. I give her 5 stars and recommend her to anyone looking to get healthy!

I was one who didn't mind sitting on the couch and eating whatever while watching tv. The idea of walking around the track or exercising at home was far from my thought processes. I have been training with Michelle since the beginning of September. She has gotten me to do squats, jumping jacks, and lifting 8 pound weights. I Skype with Michelle twice a week and I look forward to this time
She has helped me to transform my body and become stronger. I now can go up a flight of stairs with out stopping or being winded. This training is a life long think for me since I am 61 years old. She is helping me to stay fit and mobile so I will still be able to walk and move and age gracefully. Thank you so much Michelle for working with me. You are awesome.

I had a stroke in March of 2014 and had been in physical therapy for over a year and was not satisfied with my overall results. Michelle was recommended to me. I started training with Michelle in June , 2015. She has strengthened me to a point that I am now able to do most daily functions , including walking without my cane for short distances . I have gained more strength , co-ordination,and body control than I accomplished in physical therapy. Michelle is enthusiastic , encouraging ,, very competent and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her to any one.
