Marie Edgar is the founder of ME Fit. Marie is also a personal trainer for Me Fit which includes Body Sculpting, Food coaching, weight loss and yoga coaching (Restore ME).
Marie is very adept at working with issues and injuries at all ages.
Marie has been a PT for 15 years and her first job as a teenager was teaching kiddie aerobics. She has a life long passion for fitness including certification through AFAA, B.S. from UTSA, Certification in myofascial release and CPR/AED through American Red Cross.
If you're looking for a trainer with a whistle and yelling this would not be a good fit. Marie is kind, compassionate, and likes to work with the body, not against it. Marie helps people find their best self and make life long changes.

As a child, Marie's parents noticed she wasn’t loosing her baby fat at age 8 (they were optimistic!). Her parents took her to the doctor and changed the Edgar lifestyle from that moment on. The family began to go running and have only healthy choices at home. As her mom began to food coach her, she learned how to eat for fuel instead of for fun. It wasn’t all roses, there were a LOT of tears. A LOT. But in the end, she got down to a healthy weight and as they say.... the rest is history!! She is the daughter of a personal trainer/Stott Pilates certified mama and the sister of a tennis pro. Her father is a minister and teaches water aerobics. (how cute right??)

    Marie has been my personal trainer for over 5 years. I had never exercised before and as I was approaching my mid 40’s I knew it was time to start. Marie creates a very comfortable environment & working with her has made exercising exciting, fun & challenging. My mind & body miss it terribly if I skip a session!

    Marie has been such a blessing to me! I first started going to her yoga classes about 3 years ago, when I was weak from being sick. I had never done yoga (was age 65 at the time). Marie's always-positive feedback kept me going, and my strength and balance improved greatly. I have been having personal training sessions with her for almost a year, and know I'm feeling way better than I would be without her help. Marie is excellent at figuring out the specific things a person needs to work on. She is helping me be as "young" as I possibly can, in spite of my age. I would strongly recommend training with her!

    I have had Marie food coach and train me off and on for over a year. She’s always very encouraging. It’s so helpful to have feed back daily on what your eating, it really helps to keep you in check and stay on track. Marie is super knowledgeable and will help you meet your goals.

    I've been working out with Marie for a year and a half now. My goal was to get more toned and boy am i toned now! Even tho im thin, getting older i was noticing i was getting flabby. And with my job as a massage therapist i was needing strength in places i was weakest to help me maintain my career and posture. Marie really knows what she's doing and has really helped me so much in my overall health. I could have not done this without her. I feel great now! And she has changed my life for the better.

    I was 30 pounds overweight and Marie helped me lose 30 pounds in only 12 weeks. My blood pressure is better now and I feel much better. Growing up, I wasn’t allowed to dance, except for my prom and homecoming, but I always wanted to learn how to dance. Mare has taught me how to tango, waltz, salsa, swing, west coast swing, and fox trot. It has been very fun and enjoyable! Stacy Orear
