I have worked with Lori at Canyon Ranch for many years. She has trained me in strength, Pilates, yoga and aerial yoga and I have taken a wide array of fitness classes with here. She had so much experience with and knowledge about pilates, yoga, strength training, stretching, circuit training, TRX, anatomy, injuries, etc. Lori keeps things fresh, exciting and fun. She simultaneously supports and challenges, pushing me beyond my comfort zone and helping me accomplish things I never thought possible. She truly cares about her clients and is so passionate about what she does. I wish that I lived closer so I could train with Lori year-round. She is the best!

I've been working with Lori weekly for more than a year -- and she's great with pilates, yoga and the other training skills she has. I think she's unusually attentive to form -- which is really important to me, particularly when I was recuperating from a serious lower back injury. She does a broad evaluation at the beginning and then rechecks that from time to time. She develops a personalized fitness plan and keeps track of the machine and mat exercise details from week to week. She also switches different exercises into the plan, so you work different areas, different muscles, do different stretches, etc. The result is notable progress and a well-rounded routine. Both her attentiveness and enthusiasm are really helpful. I was also impressed to learn how many different certifications she's earned. And I know how much work and time (and money) she invested to obtain her Polestar Pilates training. So she's not just coasting and phoning it in -- she's very actively engaged in our sessions. I feel very safe working with her -- I know I'm not going to be injured when I'm working with her. I highly recommend her.

Lori has worked with me five days a week for the past several months. I was fortunate to find Lori early this summer. I have had trainers quite steadily for about 25 years and they have all been excellent, but Lori stands out as heads and shoulders better than the rest. She is extremely knowledgeable about the body and is a fantastic instructor and so encouraging. She makes you feel good while she is motivating you to exercise properly. Whether it is endurance, breathing, stretching or building a firm body she is so wonderful. I will be leaving the Berkshires end of September and will sorely miss her. What is outstanding is she always goes the extra mile whether it is developing a program to take on my cruise or staying an extra few minutes to make sure we were able to finish the workout. She finds ways to challenge me and motivate me like no one I have ever met.
If you are able to work with her you will be most fortunate. You may call me for further reference if you like. Ask her for the cell phone for TW. Don't walk run to her class or get her to come to your home and work with her.
Incidently she trained my wife two days a week and she loved it as well

I've been attending Lori's class for almost a decade now. Her spirit and energy stand out. I hang out at Kripalu and have experienced some of the best yoga instructors around and Lori is even better. As a regular in her classes, you feel a part of her team and she asks you what asanas you need and even offers to work one in if she can to help your body if you ask her right before the class, definitely if you ask her before she creates the flow for three classes. She makes sure her practice is varied, solid and safe. She is a dedicated and nurturing teacher.

I love Lori!..I have been with her now for about 5 years, and in all the years has kept her classes fun, safe, and will challenge you no matter what level you are at. Lori does not make you feel negative if you cannot do something, there is always something that can be modified if one cannot do the exercise. Lori is always reminding people in her class if you have a shoulder injury, back problem, knee problem how do do the exercise safely. She has such a great personality that it is infectious! Always smiling and giving encouragement, "Say yes to yourself". What more could you ask for in an instructor? sr
