I LOVE being active and I love helping others find their passion for living an active lifestyle. In 1991, I began teaching group exercise and realized each participant had a different set of gifts and challenges. I was drawn to helping individuals overcome their challenge(s) and limiting beliefs. Since 1997, I have worked primarily with older adults and adults with known disease who had been physically limited by their illness/injury and also held back by a fear and belief that certain activities where not available to them. It is exciting and gratifying when a person realizes that he/she has so much MORE endurance, strength, coordination and overall physical and mental/emotional ability than what they had thought possible. Not only is physical pain alleviated but self-confidence, sense of achievement and overall happiness improves. I feel blessed to be a part of each client's path to personal improvement. In 2006, I completed my 1000 hour Holistic Health Practitioner certification and began practicing massage therapy, thus adding in a more diverse set of clientele, ranging from frail elderly to clients of all ages with known pathology to competing ultra endurance and Crossfit athletes. I believe when people feel strong and confident their personal relationships and overall contribution to their communities become stronger.

Hello David,
I would be happy to talk with you about the Fitness industry. You may click on the "Contact Lori" link at the top right of this page to email me questions and/or your contact information. Also, I recommend you talk with other personal trainers as well, as the fitness industry is very diverse and has many opportunities. Conferences are a great way to learn the industry and network and you can volunteer to work at them to save on the cost. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Lori
