    I knew when I hit my early 60's that my arthritis was taking over my body. I could give in and be severely compromised or I could call Lisa. Fortunately, I did the latter.
    Her ability to tune in to my physical challenges and to bolster my determination to eat right, exercise properly and to be conscious of my posture in every day life has enabled me to enjoy an active retirement. She does all this with humor, compassion and expertise.

    I saw Lisa Ray regularly before moving from the area and highly recommend her. Lisa helped me to steadily and relatively painlessly lose 30 pounds that I had been not been able to lose on my own. In addition to having a great sense of humor, Lisa is brilliant, fun, and highly intuitive. She is not one to fall for the latest fad or hype, relying instead on practical and sustainable approaches to health, fitness, and weight loss. Unlike other trainers I've worked with, Lisa understands the emotional issues that are frequently tied up in eating and health habits. Having experienced her own struggles with health and weight, she brings a perspective that you can't get from a trainer who has always been in great shape and healthy. Lisa is kind but honest and will give you a kick in the yoga pants when you need it - I'll never forget the day I was complaining about being tired of keeping a food diary and she very gently said, "how can I put this nicely...that sounds kind of whiny!" Busted!

    Lisa Ray is very good at what she does.
    With her help, I was able to shed 50 pounds.
    She is able to counsel effectively on nutrition as well as fitness.
    She is extremely caring, professional and thorough in her ability to see what might be causing people to carry extra pounds. Now, as I learn about how to move forward without gaining weight, she is there for me, cheering me on.
    Lisa has a positive attitude. She is never lacking in great suggestions when I feel especially challenged by something. I could not have dreamed of a better coach/counselor when I made the decision to slim down.
