It brings me great joy to see my participants become successfully healthy. 'Successfully healthy' means different things for different people, but is the goal of all of my classes. There is nothing like witnessing the positive transformations my clients experience as well as the excitement they share as they move toward and accomplish their goals. In addition, I enjoy learning new methods of exercise and passing them along to my students. I believe the best teachers are also life long learners.

    I have been working out with Linda for several months now and she is an excellent trainer very knowledgeable she motivates you and I have learned a lot of different stretches I would highly recommend her she's a great trainer and person as well i'm very glad that I got to meet her and I get to work out with her

    I am taking this class in a small group and Linda is our yoga instructor. This is my first experience with yoga and must say that this class is wonderful. Linda explains every move and encourages all of us to reach our potential regardless of our fitness level. Routines vary - Linda's classes are challenging, productive but most of all enjoyable.
    I would highly recommend Linda as a fitness instructor!

    I have been participating in classes led by Linda in a private home recently. I have to say that her classes have been enjoyable as well as very beneficial in the area of strengthening and flexibility. She is very sensitive to the various levels of those participating as well as any "challenging body parts" by offering alternatives to moves. I also appreciate the level of detail with which she describes the moves and their benefits to the body. Doing quite a bit of variety from class to class keeps things fresh and works different muscles in each session. I am not looking to run marathons but have my body at this stage of my life be strong and flexible enough to enjoy life and avoid/delay the aging aches, pains, and limitations. Linda creates an atmosphere where everyone feels relaxed and encouraged to give feedback/suggestions.

    I have been taking Linda's Strength and Stretching class for almost a year now. She is a very detailed fitness instructor. One of the reasons I like her class is she mixes things up so we don't get bored. From weights, to strength and stretching and now she is adding some Pilates. She is always reminding us to breathe and pull in our abs, so we can get the best benefits out of her class. I would highly recommend Linda as a fitness coach.

    Linda Schooren’s classes are the Best! This is my 1st experience with a Fitness Trainer. I retired almost 5 years ago, and was quite inactive. In August of 2014, I joined the Silver Sneakers Program sponsored by my insurance company. The fitness classes have been a blessing to my health and overall well-being! Since attending classes, I’m more flexible, my balance has improved, and my energy level is “through the roof” for a 70 year old! It’s so much fun actually watching myself, as well as other classmates physically change in appearances and becoming more flexible. Linda is caring, patient, and does not hesitate to give us individual help and encouragement. She’s a “God Sent” trainer for me and our group!
