My Philosophy...Movement restores our sense of awareness in so many facets of our lives. Along with health and energy comes increased confidence, turning opportunities and challenges into accomplishments and successes. Working in the health and fitness arena as a trainer, my joy has come from helping client's define their short term and long term fitness goals and then designing their program to help them achieve them. Having the experience to work with different movement disciplines enables me to systematically and progressively work through the roadblocks they may experience giving them a sense of accomplishment and making it something they look forward to each and every day.

Leah has helped me both as a group class instructor and as a personal trainer. What she always brings to the session is VERVE (vitality, expertise, rigor, variety, and enthusiasm), even if your session is 5:30 AM. OK, I kind of made up that "VERVE" bit, but she does indeed embody each of those attributes, which makes the work with her enjoyable. She draws from a variety of disciplines (from dance to Pilates and weight training), and crafts a workout specifically for you. With her guidance I have augmented overall fitness and markedly improved shoulder and trunk mobility and function.
After each session with Leah I walk out of the gym improved, always a notch better...

I am a senior citizen who has worked with several trainers over the years and put lots of hours in the gym and on the road. I started training with Leah in July 2009 and have been working with her two sessions a week ever since. I can honestly say, that no two workouts have been the same. Leah keeps me on my toes and knows how far she can push me without injury. My strength has improved, but the biggest gain has been my balance and leg strength. We do weightlifting, but it is usually accompanied by body movement. I look forward to every workout, even if it is at 5:30 a.m.

I really appreciate how Leah can customize each workout for each person no matter their shape or age. She mixes it up so there is no boredom. I feel I have progressed with my workouts since working with Leah.

I have been with Leah for 1 1/2 years. The thing I like about Leah is she takes time to get to know you and your goals. Then she creates a personalized health and fitness plan according to your wants and needs. She pushes you and encourages you throughout every session. Her goal is to help you feel good on the inside and out. She is an inspiration and very motivational. She recognizes the stresses people have in their lives but helps her clients find ways to think of eating healthy and exercising as a positive way to deal with those stresses. Leah continues to influence and inspire me to continue to work hard and not give up. Thank you, Leah.

I have trained with Leah for about 3 years now and she has made all the difference in my life. She pushes me to work as hard as I possibly can, but is always very aware of my personal strengths and weaknesses. She taught me how to incorporate physical fitness as well as eating right into my everyday routine. She is very energetic plus makes every workout enjoyable while getting the most out of me that she can. She keeps me motivated and has helped me become stronger and fitter. She has helped me do things I never thought achievable and at 41 I am fitter than ever.
Thanks Leah -- YOU Rock!!!!
