I was looking for a personal trainer about a year ago and I found Laura's website and her qualifications were what I felt I needed so I called and went for a consultation. I have scoliosis with a Herrington rod down my spine, a complete hip replacement and shoulder rotator cuff surgery along with knees that are end stage and bone to bone so I need someone who can work with my issues. I trained with Laura for the last year two days a week and benefited from her training and motivation in building my strength and improving my health both physically and mentally.

I started training with Laura to improve my strength, muscle tone, and overall fitness. She made me feel comfortable and optimistic from the first day. After an assessment of my fitness level and goals, she created workouts that targeted my problem areas. And, I am so happy with the results! Laura is an outstanding trainer. She has the ability to coach anyone, of any age, and at any fitness level to reach their goals. I should know. Before I began training with Laura, it was very difficult for me to lose any weight and I was out-of-shape. When I began working with her, I lost three dress sizes in a few months. I have continued to train with Laura for three years and she has assisted me in keeping the weight and inches from returning. Just about a year and a half ago I began training with Laura which changed my life. I lost 130 pounds and in the best shape of my adult life. I looked forward to my weekly check in with her, to see my progress each week. Due to my weight loss I began running in the spring, which lead to the running of the Detroit marathon. I can now keep up with my busy life. Due to my determination and her motivation my story is a success.
