Hi I'm Lashonda, Owner and Certified Personal Trainer of CE-Fit, Charlotte North Carolina's Mobile Fitness Training and Nutrition Service company. We bring Certified Personal Trainers and Licensed Dietitians to your home and office. I started CE-Fit because I wanted to see people experience real change. My philosophy toward healthy living, diet, and exercise is displayed by the way I live my life. Every day, I want to look in the mirror and love what I see and enjoy the way I feel. A lifetime commitment to healthy living has done that for me. I’ve never been a fan of “dieting.” Instead, I’ve always loved to find new, fun, and sustainable ways to stay healthy. There are so many diets and exercise plans out there, some of them work, but most of them don’t because they’re not built to empower you. I equip and empower my clients to no longer become dependent on fad-diets and boring workout routines. I enable them to find their inner strength, discipline, and drive to meet their goals once and for all. My job is to totally transform the way my clients look at diet and exercise. Healthy living is not a fad, it’s a lifetime commitment; it’s a journey. I always tell my clients that if they begin their program with me thinking, “I’m in it for the long haul,” they will succeed. My training philosophy is probably different from most trainers in that my focus is not just on the physical, but also on the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person. I get down to the CORE of things. I truly believe that in order to get effective change you have to start with the mental, emotional, and spiritual (the root). Old mindsets and habits must be reconfigured, in order to change the physical (the fruit). This is where many good intentions to lose weight and crash dieting fail; they never deal with the root. A person’s mind has to be renewed and transformed to a new way of living. As stated in our core values, though most people have immediate goals that they would like to reach, transitioning your thinking from “right now” to “for life” gives you the freedom to make gradual changes physically, mentally, and spiritually. Making small changes, by doing the right things most of the time on a consistent basis, brings results less all the added pressure we tend to place on ourselves unnecessarily. My workouts are full of variety, fun, and challenge. I really focus on the core and work my way out through a variety of body weight, balance, flexibility, cardiovascular and functional style training. Because every body is created uniquely, I uniquely design each workout program to fit the individual needs of my clients. In other words, no one’s workout will be the same. My job is to help you learn, grow, and be challenged. I will totally shatter your myths about in-home fitness training.
