Pilates for Runners classes are tailored to met runners' specific issues. Runners and triathletes generally experience the same issues - tight hip flexors and hamstrings, low back pain, IT band issues, and joint dysfunction in the hips and pelvis. Pilates for Runners group mat and private lessons address these issues with exercises that strengthen the core - abs, back, hips, glutes, and thighs - while working on alignment, joint mobility, and flexibility.
Private Pilates lessons are designed to meet the client's needs - strength training, flexibility, injury recovery or overall wellness and fitness
I have been actively teaching Pilates since January 2009, shortly after successfully completing the Pendleton Pilates Teacher Training & Certification Program. I am currently certified to teach Reformer, Mat, and Ball classes and I continue to enhance my education by attending Pilates workshops and by practicing Pilates on a regular basis.
