I am a very active person who believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Every day, I work out/train to stay physically fit, relieve stress, and build a positive body image. In addition, I enjoy researching and exploring new exercises and techniques to further my knowledge in physical fitness; this motivated me to study and earn a certification in personal training and group fitness. Using my passion for exercise and strength training, I am eager to have the opportunity to assist others in achieving their fitness goals. I have previous experience in strength and condition training as a competitive athlete. During my three years of playing professional Women’s football, I learned and performed many football specific workouts inside and outside of the weight room. Furthermore, I discovered the importance of reinforcement and motivation. Constant encouragement and support from my teammates and coaches inspired me to push through tough workouts and strive for improvement and excellence, which lead to me competing and being selected for the 2013 USA Women’s Tackle Football Team. I had the great fortune of earning a gold medal competing in this highly intense sport. I hope to bring this knowledge of constructive guidance into personal training not only to assist but also challenge others in making consistent gains.
