Like many women who hit middle age who don't exercise regularly, I put on the pounds. Then for years I struggled unsuccessfully to lose the weight but just kept gaining. Finally I took a science-based weight loss program and began weight and cardio training. As I lost weight and significantly improved my general fitness level, I decided I wanted to help other Boomers and seniors make their own comeback. Studying to become a personal trainer and learning the science behind fitness and good nutrition has given me deep insights into what works and what doesn't. It's also help me transform my own body.
