As owner of Off Da Couch Training, Katie has spent years in the personal training industry. She is certified in exercise as well as nutrition. Other certifications include TRX and Reebok cycle. Her specialties include but are not limited to senior citizens, youth, weight loss and gain, hypertrophy, muscle endurance, power, speed, and agility, sports specific training, flexibility, balance, injury prevention and reduction, cardiovascular endurance, powerlifting, and improvement of VO2 max. She has helped 100's of clients achieve their personal goals and takes pride on her high retention rate of repeat customers. Katie's athletic background includes currently running distances of all types from 1-50 miles. She is training for a 24 hour event in July 2011. She also plays indoor soccer. Past experiences include playing field hockey in college, high school soccer and field hockey. She has received All-District, All-Area, All-Region, and All D.C. Metro honors. She also participated in high school basketball. Rounding off her athleticism is her tennis and softball experience. Katie constantly strives to make herself, her company and others better.
