    I have been going to Karen as my personal trainer for over 4 years. She is truly the best. She's compassionate and fun. I go to two personal training sessions and one small group training session every week. My flexibility, strength and balance have changed dramatically since I started with her. I have never stuck with anything as long as I have with Karen as I truly enjoy working out with her and going to a small studio to work out.

    Karen is wonderful and really takes pride and joy in her work. She is friendly, laughs a lot, knows how to push her clients to dig deeper, and plays great set lists on her iPod.

    I have worked with Karen for 32+ weeks in the past year, and not only has she helped me through recovery from significant injuries (as a rock climber I bring no shortage) but also improved my overall fitness and health. She has great concern in working at "your" level... and that's different for each individual walking through the door. I am always learning something new from joint and health care to exercise routines, and unique mental fitness tips that can trick the mind to workout longer and endure difficult scenarios (something important for when I'm mountaineering at high elevation). Again, she's great at assessing your level.

    You won't be sorry you to meet and work with her.

    My personal training work with Karen over the past several years has literally changed my life. Although I've always been very physically active, Karen has helped me focus my activities so that I can set, work towards, and ultimately meet and sometimes exceed my personal fitness goals. I appreciate Karen's comprehensive yet practical approach to overall health and well-being and feel stronger, healthier, and more balanced because of her firm yet compassionate guidance.     I think Karen is amazing! I have worked with her for over a year in both personal training and small-group training sessions. I always feel like I am getting a great and varied workout every single week. I love it that she always keeps body mechanics and correct movements in mind as well. She inspires me to be healthy, strong and comfortable with myself.

    I've been attending the small group training for a couple of years, and I love it. It's inexpensive enough to do on a regular basis, and the groups are small enough that everyone gets enough attention. Karen varies the work so that we are never bored, and the amount of social interaction keeps things lively. She even mixes up the music to keep us on our toes. I really feel the difference that this program has made on my physical health, and I can always get recommendations for exercise and stretches to do outside of class as well. Even though it is, well, exercise, I really look forward to the classes every week, and miss them when I travel.
