    If you are in search of a trainer that is attentive to your goals and keeps the workouts fun, Julie will be a great fit! I am happy with the progress I have made since starting training. She switches up the workout routine each time and I have not done the same workout twice over the course of about 5 years. Julie is excellent at ensuring you get most out of the workout, whether correcting form or encouraging you to push yourself.

    A recent kayak adventure made me reflect on how much I've gained from my time with Julie at The Fitness Lounge. Four 50+-year-old women went down the river together and confronted several challenges (rapid water, large boulders, lost paddle, capsized boats, fallen trees). Not only did I have the strength, balance and endurance for the three-hour trip, I helped another woman who's exhausted legs were Jello and arms were spaghetti (in her own words). Working out and applying better food choices with Julie's help, have made it possible for me to say yes to more adventures.

    Julie does a great job! The training sessions are motivating and fun with a great deal of variety. My husband and I have gained stamina, balance, and strength. We feel better and have lost weight. Julie pushes us to do our best and keeps us moving in the right direction.

    I have been working with Julie since last fall. She is a great trainer. I do training with a friend so we are more motivated and Julie has been able to come up with exercises we can do at or away from her location. Every session is enjoyable. I highly recommend Julie. Give her a try!
