I started personal training with Travis Rogers about 12 years ago. I had just finished treatment for herniated disks, and I decided that I would make an effort to improve my general level of muscle conditioning to reduce the chances of another injury. Before the injury, I was relatively active (regular tennis, running, skiing, etc), but I had never paid much attention to strength training. Since beginning training with Travis, I have successfully avoided another back injury, and have been very satisfied with the progress that I have made in improved strength and endurance.
One thing that I really appreciate about Travis is his dedication to offering each client a personalized program to help them reach their own goals. This can include help in maintaining a healthy diet, as well as good advice for being active outside of the training session. Travis is also persistent in finding new exercises and new types of workouts to keep regular sessions from getting boring. At a recent session, he introduced me to a new boxing-based workout, which was not only a good workout, but a lot of fun.
I highly recommend Travis to anyone interested in improving their physical condition, no matter what their age, athletic ability, or starting physical condition.

I had an osteoarthritic right knee that needed surgery not if but when.
My daughter referred me to Travis to strengthen my knee/leg muscles so that post surgery I would have minimal complications. Before surgery I could no longer ride the stationary bike.
I was released from the hospital post-surgery within 24 hrs. which is highly unusual. I walked up the stairs in my house (without pain)
immediately after returning home. I never needed a cane and was off pain medication shortly after going home. My daughter, an RN
agrees that working with Travis significantly reduced my recovery time. Now I am riding the stationary bike with no problem.
Travis assists me with agility, strength, flexibility, and general fitness.
I have worked with Travis for 18 months, and while some sessions are
difficult - I keep coming back for more. Thank you Travis for making my
post-surgery so successful.
