Jill Cressy has extensive experience leading movement and mindfulness programs, presenting workshops and collaborating with partners to support community engagement, sport and recreation, learning and well-being. She has over 20 years of leadership experience designing, delivering and evaluating health and fitness programs, promoting wellness, and managing a large number of staff including hiring, training, mentoring, coaching and scheduling. Jill has developed a variety of classes including group fitness, dance, sport, yoga and mindfulness meditation. She has also facilitated outreach programs.

Jill is a certified fitness leader, trainer and coach with a BPHE and MEd from the University of Toronto. She completed her Master of Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and her final elective in Health Communications at the Graduate Department of Exercise Sciences in partnership with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Jill also completed the U of T Rose Patten Mentorship Program and certificates in Facilitation Skills and Conflict Resolution Skills for Trainers. She teaches a variety of classes including yoga and mindfulness meditation. Jill is a Registered Health and Exercise Practitioner-Trainer of Fitness Leaders, National Fitness Leadership Association Accredited, Member to the International Confederation of Registers for Exercise Professionals and a Registered Yoga Teacher with a certificate in Applied Mindfulness Meditation through the U of T School of Continuing Studies.

Jill has published articles on physical activity and health, delivered presentations for a variety of organizations, and received U of T Excellence through Innovation Awards for various wellness initiatives including Mindful Moments, Exam Jam, and MoveU. She offers consulting services and training in the areas of health, fitness, wellness, mindfulness and education.
