I am a woman on a journey to "be the change we wish to see in the world"... (Mahatma Gandhi). Please visit my website Fit4uABQ.com or my Facebook page @ facebook.com/Fit4uABQ for more info.
I am a wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. I am inspired to do my best everyday for myself and those in my life. I look for the good and always hope for the best. My fitness classes focus on the health and wellness of community, laughter and movement. I welcome everyone and I am proud of the rich diversity in my classes. I believe that it takes a village, we are all on this journey together and we leave class having shared together the spirit of fun through movement and healing through laughter. It is not about the sweat produced in my class but about the community we create. Together we can make a change for good. Desire leads us to make a difference... difference is my desire.

Thank you! My classes inspire me and I feel so grateful to share my love of dance and fitness. It is only possible because you allow me to be part of your lives a few times a week. I am truly blessed!

Warning! This is long but I felt all of the info was important and useful:

Jen is a hoot! The first thing I observed in her class was that having a great time (while getting a good workout, of course!) was EVERYTHING! She isn't pretentious (which can be alienating, let alone intimidating especially for us newbies) and seems to be very tuned-in when students might be struggling with new steps which is so helpful. She always shows ways to both make the moves harder as well as ways to ease up for beginners (thank you for that, Jen!).

The people that I've seen attending her classes range in age from 20somethings to 65+ and that was all in the same class AND everyone was getting a great work-out. There were men and women, some very fit & trim folks and some very heavy folks just getting started, and then everything in-between. Everyone was working as hard as they could. Everyone seemed comfortable and there was no pressure to 'look' a certain way or anything (again, thank you for that, Jen!). Everyone really seemed to be truly enjoying themselves.

If you are looking for a Zumba 'scene' my impression is this is not the Zumba group for you. If you are looking for a GREAT workout, no matter your fitness level, with a fun & attentive instructor, with a terrific crowd then you will LOVE this class. Period.

Jen makes our Zumba Gold class so much fun - we get a great workout, laugh, and enjoy. More and more people join her Zumba family every week due to the great word-of-mouth from those of us who truly enjoy it.
