I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer who has spent my life immersed in endurance sports and sport-specific training. As an endurance athlete and a competitive age-grouper, I have run multiple marathons including Boston and New York. I have completed endurance events including 100 and multiple 50+ mile trail races, adventure races, and an 'ultra’ duathlon. My wife of almost ten years, Amy, is also a marathoner and with two beautiful daughters, I understand the importance of wellness. I am a proponent of a functional approach to health and ensuring that the exercises match one’s desired goals. Using the Functional Movement Screen, from sport-specific training for young athletes to weight-loss and body fat reduction for adults, if it’s enjoyable, clients are far more likely to continue and evolve with the training program to meet their goals both inside and out of the training facility.

I've been training with Jeff since December 2012. 5 years after major heart surgery my physical condition was I hate to say it poor at best. My wife had been going to Jeff's Boot Camp for a few months so for my birthday she bought me a month of personal training. Come to find out now this was the best gift I had ever received. Jeff screened me and through our discussions on my limitations from the heart surgery, he came up with a program for me to begin exercising again. Jeff designed a program around me which gave me the ability to succeed. He didn't just have me start doing the same exercises that his other clients did, he worked on my specific needs. In my opinion this is what a "PERSONAL TRAINER" should be doing, making a program fit for me not making me fit a program. I still workout with Jeff 2-3x's a week and I have no plans on changing that.

    Thanks for everything Jeff!!!!

In 2011, I thought I would give personal training a try for a few months to get myself back into shape. Well here I am, almost 2 years later, still working with Jeff.

I find myself looking forward to his workouts. Just when I think I have the routine figured out, he changes them up... I like that. He always finds ways to make me work harder. The things that were difficult in the beginning are much easier now. I am getting stronger and my body shape is still changing. My clothes are fitting better and I feel better about myself.

Jeff has done this for me and I can't thank him enough...

Jeff has a true passion and knowledge for fitness, nutrition and a naturally healthy lifestyle. I have been going to Boot Camp faithfully for over a year 4x/week and have yet to have the same routine twice. Each class is carefully designed to provide a challenging balance of a full body workout and endurance training. The class is made up of various ages and fitness levels and Jeff thoroughly walks through each station and shows how it can be modified depending on your fitness level, so any-body and every-body can get something out of it

There is a fine line between a fitness instructor being "in your face intimidating" and being completely disengaged....Jeff understands the balance and knows who he can push a little hard and who just needs recognition for their hard efforts and improvements.

Originally I thought getting up at 5:30 and working out would be a sure fire recipe for falling asleep at my desk by 10:00, but I quickly learned that on mornings that I attend Boot Camp, I have more energy and a positive attitude all day....it's better than any cup of coffee out there

What I enjoy most about Boot Camp is it can be anything you want it to be, and each day brings a new challenge. What I enjoy most about Jeff as a trainer is he walks the walk and talks the talk, he doesn't do anything that he doesn't do or believe in himself
