First of all, I want to thank you for stopping by. I appreciate it!

I think I had better get right to explaining who I am…or better yet, who I think I am. After all, I’m in my early 30’s, but this business focuses on folks aged 30 years old and above.

Why is that?

What is it about me that helps me understand the unique issues (and the urgency) of an age group I’m really a part of?

I’m a fitness guy. A former athlete (football was my thing). For a lot of my clients, that alone is very different from their world…and maybe from yours.

So, this is my story…and it starts out quite a few years ago…2003 to be exact.

I was always a bit undersized, due to the fact that I didn’t even know how to lift weights. I became aware of the importance of working out when I met a guy named Wayne, whose son was on the High School Football team.

Wayne was a former bodybuilder, who taught me the importance of weight lifting and how to take care of my body. I was only about 16 years old at the time. Wayne not only taught me about proper form and technique, but also about the importance of pre- and post-workout nutrition. This was something I didn’t have a clue about.

Seeing the steady increase in strength started to amaze me.

I remember thinking, “I don’t know where I would be if I hadn’t met someone who was determined to not only show me how to work out, but also hold me accountable. I don’t ever want to be sedentary again!”

Now, of course, no one can twist your arm and make you work out like he did, but I was starting to see some health issues going on with my family that I wanted to prevent in my own life. I had to make a change for the future.

Your personal challenge could come in the form of an illness, heart disease, or an accident.

Who’s to say?
Premier Performance Training
It was difficult to identify the importance of a healthy lifestyle at such as young age. But as I got older, the straightforward goals of people just a few years older than me became clearer.

You want to feel better, have more confidence, and maybe lose a few pounds long the way.

For many of you, it’s possible you’ve had your own ‘struggle’ in some way. Maybe some health struggle that served as a “wake-up call”.

High blood pressure, an injury, a health crisis of a family member, or good friend.

Let’s face it…it’s more likely than not that by the time you hit your 30’s and 40’s, you’ve seen something along these lines…

In my opinion, this is a part of the irony of fitness…. something that motivates me every day.

Generally, people over age 35 actually start to decrease their physical activity for one reason or another…just when they need it most!

Life just gets in the way…preventing you from putting the time towards your health you KNOW you should.

But is just doesn’t have to be this way. And I find this all incredibly frustrating (can you tell!).

So, back my story…

Like I said, I had been a pretty decent football player when I was in high school and college. This kept me in touch with training and all. Eventually, I decided to get my undergraduate and graduate degree in exercise physiology, leading to get my career in personal training and sports performance.

It’s a good thing too, because at 21 years old, I suffered a knee injury on a pass protection drill that put me out for a year. Now, I was young and it was not wildly traumatic; nonetheless, but events like this stop you in your tracks!

I took it as a learning experience. I was very ‘hands on’ about my recovery. I had never been injured before, so I didn’t know what to expect with the recovery time frame. In fact, I took the opportunity to get stronger during the process on my own time, due to the lack of funds for a qualified professional to help me get back to 100%.
Premier Performance Training
I now knew that if I could get myself back to playing form by next season that I could put myself in a position to help others live the life they fully expected after injury.

I also said to myself, “What if I was 53 when this happened and not 21? Would I be ready for that?” Suddenly this becomes a MUCH different conversation!

Then things hit even closer to home…

Recently my dad had to have hip replacement surgery.

He had known for a while that he needed this surgery, but now it was time due to the joint being bone on bone. For those that know, this is VERY Painful.

He has a long road to recovery ahead of him. The first thing I thought about was how long will the recovery be.

I was praying that this would be smooth and that he would be back to work within the allotted time for recovery.

The bad part is, had he been taking care of his self over the years leading up to his surgery, he may have recovered quicker …or, who knows, maybe he would not have had to have this surgery in his late 50’s!

Like I said, “being ready” in the event something like this does happen is sooo important…this was even more proof to me.

Premier Performance Training
The fortunate part is that, when he is ready, I have the expertise and clearly the motivation, to be there to help. I can design his program from scratch to get him back to where he expects to be, which is what happened after he had to have his second surgery on the same hip. After surgery, he recovered a lot quicker due to increased strength and was 3-4 weeks ahead of schedule with going back to work. doing the things everyone over 35, 45 and older wants to be doing…

…enjoying traveling…

…going out dancing…

…being able to walk around the top deck of a cruise ship in the Mediterranean or Alaska…

…playing golf or tennis…

…riding a bike…

You get the idea.

I tell you all of this in order to explain why I do what I do, and why Premier Performance TraIning is designed the way it is.

I have a vision of a facility where individuals can count on a program designed for them, not the masses. I don’t believe in large group training. I deliberately stayed away from those big classes with crazy circuits set up where people train until they drop (from fatigue or injury).

I wanted to be so much more individualized than that.

Honestly, seeing a 45 year old client knock out 10 push-ups (on his way to 20!)…

Or a 62 year old woman doing 15 Kettlebell swings with 45lbs (true story!)…

Or even my 46-year-old former professional football player achieve a lifetime best squat…is incredibly inspiring.

That’s the type of thing that gets me excited to go to work each and every day. Helping people accomplish things they never dreamed they would do…or do again…
Premier Performance Training
I have had many people in my world have their lives wildly disrupted by events that struck out of the blue. And while some things like this cannot always be prevented, I know I can help others prepare themselves, live fuller lives, and experience successful aging…just by being ready.

We pride ourselves on people like you doing things that are not always seen

• Prescription Medication NOT needed

• Falls and injuries avoided with surgeries NOT needed

• Weight lost, NOT gained

• Medical conditions that DON’T get a foothold

• Diseases prevented, NOT suffered from

• Lives lived to the fullest, NOT compromised

In the end, I created the exact facility I had envisioned with the exact mission I had hoped for.

This is the only thing I really want to do…

The button below will take you to a registration form so you can secure a spot as a member of our facility right away.

As I mentioned, we simply CAN’T work with everyone AND deliver the individualized service we are known for.

About 2.5 months ago I approached Aaron to inquire about starting a workout routine with him. 2.5 months later, I can't believe the results. More importantly, it is about what you get when you choose to work with Aaron. He's extremely knowledgeable so he's able to adjust your workout to optimize the outcome. He's also a fantastic listener. We started working together by just talking about my goals. He listened then each week we talk more about what's working and not working. He adjusts as needed and I always leave feeling completely spent! I'm getting stronger, losing inches, sleeping better and just feel more energized. If you are spending money on things that aren't improving the quality and potential length of your life, you might think about redirecting that spent to time with Aaron. I'm glad to be associated with such an incredible all around guy. You will not regret one penny spent!

I started with 3 days a week and I am now up to 6-days per week. I'd go 7 if he would let me :).

I have been working with Aaron Hines for just under 4 months. After nearly a decade of neglect to my physical fitness, and experiencing a number of health concerns, I began working with Aaron. He has helped to transform my physical fitness, body composition, muscle mass, and muscle endurance in ways I couldn't have imagined. I've seen consistently great results each month working with Aaron. Certainly it's a lot of hard work, both in the gym with Aaron and outside of it, but Aaron keeps me motivated and helps hold me accountable. In addition, Aaron is extremely flexible with my schedule, works to understand my goals, and keeps me motivated to accomplish them. I still have a ways to go, but Aaron has an effective game plan to ensure I continue to see results. If you are in need of an effective personal trainer that is easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable, I highly recommend Aaron. He's done wonders for my health and fitness.

I had moved to Franklin TN about 15 months ago, leaving my trainer back in TX whom I had worked out with for 3 years. I started with Aaron about 1 year ago, missing 5 months of training and had also developed an issue with my knee. I walked in to MPower on recommendation from an acquaintance, it only took a few minutes of talking with Aaron to decide to ask him to be my trainer.

I had a lot of work to do to get back that 5 months of training I had missed. I had tried doing it on my own, but without someone to push me, I fell off the routine.

One of my biggest personal goals to reach before my 57th birthday (besides fixing my knee)was to bench 125 lbs, starting at about 85 lbs. Just a couple weeks past my birthday, I hit 125 lbs. Then the next week 130. Nothing feels better than hitting a stretch goal and Aaron was determined that I was going to hit it even when I would occassionally get discouraged.

As for my knee, during the first week of training Aaron set a time for me to meet with Daniel, one of the physical therapists. Daniel gave me a stretching plan and provided Aaron with some specifics for my recovery. Within a couple of months of working with Aaron and doing the stretches from Daniel, my knee was in great shape, pain free, no surgery needed, and this was after 6 months of not being able to fully straighten my leg. And, I have been back to heavy leg workout days ever since with no return of the issue.

Aaron has a great way of motivating, has great patience in pushing his clients to do their best, is very enthusiastic, has a great sense of humor, and has a great work ethic. He is in tune to his clients needs throughout each workout through listening and watching, and adjusts as necessary. He truly cares that his clients reach their goals in the best way possible.

I had both hips replaced 4 years ago and both knees replaced 17 months ago. Due to pain in one knee and weakness in that leg, I began working out with Aaron last winter. I am so much better! The constant pain in my right knee is gone. My legs are stronger, range of motion better and my balance is much improved. The weight I gained after my knee replacements is vanishing, also. Aaron has truly been vital to getting this very active person back into shape after 4 new joints. He understands my limitations and has been very successful training me with workouts that strengthen me without stressing the new joints. He is positive, personable and a great guy. The two mornings I spend with Aaron are a great investment of time and money. I plan on this being a long term commitment. I highly recommend him to anyone.
