I am an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor & Certified Spinning Instructor. I also have certificates in TRX as well as ACE Strength & Conditioning. I have been teaching fitness classes for 3 years here in Wisconsin Dells and have a lifetime of experience in athletics, health and fitness. I have been coached by world class coaches throughout my soccer career.
I grew up playing soccer in my home state of California. I was recruited to play soccer at Regis University, where I was the first freshman to start every game in my first season. We went to the NCAA Div II Final 4 2 of the 3 years that I played. I was a 2-time All American NCAA Division II, and our soccer team was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010 at Regis.
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree from Regis University in Denver, CO in 1998.
I have been coaching soccer in the Dells for 15 years at all levels, including the first WDHS Soccer team. I now hold a Class F coaching license with USSoccer, and plan on continuing my coaching career. I currently coach 2 U11 DAYSA teams here in the Dells. I truly enjoy helping others reach their personal goals. I am the President of the FITS Board. I enjoy water & snow skiing, playing soccer, running races, mud runs, scrapbooking & of course teaching Boot Camp!
I have battled with weight loss and have struggled to regain my own personal fitness. Through these life experiences, I have grown a passion for group fitness along the way. Having struggled with severe injuries throughout my soccer career, I have a unique perspective and personally know what it takes to rebuild ones strength and confidence. I enjoy watching people adopt personal fitness into their daily lives and love the constant feedback that the group fitness environment brings. I understand that personal limits can be broken and that true life change happens outside of one’s comfort zone. I emphasize fitness as a lifestyle and not just a hobby to be put down and picked back up again when the interest arises.
