Michelle is a very dedicated and enthusiastic trainer. She keeps training sessions lively, with a range of exercises to prevent the workout from getting stale. Michelle really cares about her work and it shows. I highly recommend her.

I've never been the type to want to go to the gym or have a personal trainer, but Michelle made me feel fantastic about working about and incredibly motivated to push myself. She has this great blend of energy and sincerity that defies the personal trainer stereotype - you never feel that she's looking down on your when your pushups suck and her enthusiasm is motivating, not demoralizing. She also has great advice on improving already-healthy eating habits to make the most of your workout/weight loss plan. And even though she's small she can lift A LOT!

I'd definitely recommend her to any newcomer to the gym or someone who just has a hard time staying motivated (or putting down the chocolate). :-)

Clearly there are a lot of trainers one can work with – virtually all certified and capable of improving your fitness and well being. So why does Michelle stand out for me? First and foremost, it’s because of her carefulness, expertise, and follow-up. She introduced me to a new exercise where proper form is mandatory since the exercise is weight bearing and the back is involved. When I could not maintain form on-the-fly she immediately removed the weight from the routine and we went through it several times until I got it. And a pleasant surprise, she followed up with an email with a detailed explanation on how to perform the exercise and also with a link to a Website that showed the proper way to perform it. Carefulness, expertise, follow-up and reinforcement!!! Second, in my initial fitness assessment I told her of a decades-long problem with lower right back stiffness and discomfort that happens after playing squash and running. After doing her exercises for about 5 weeks, I no longer have this problem!! Last, A+ for personality and attitude. Thanks Michelle.

Bill, thank you so incredibly much. I am so happy to hear you are feeling great and really making an effort to go through the exercises so diligently:) You and only you got yourself to the point of feeling better, I am just the guide- remember that:)

I signed up for training sessions with Michelle before my wedding, with the hope that training would help me in my weight loss efforts and that I would learn how to more efficiently and effectively tone my arms. I had success on both accounts, and am grateful to Michelle for the wonderful training and support she offered.

Michelle is a fabulous trainer -- she is really knowledgeable and always seems current on fitness & nutrition research, and is motivating, kind, and funny, too! She helped me to accomplish my goals and throughout our training sessions, I became noticeably stronger and my weight-lifting form improved tremendously. She also checked in with me in between our training sessions to see how my work outs and food journaling were going, which helped me to stay dedicated to my fitness efforts.

It was a joy to train with Michelle (and her boot camp classes are great, too). I have learned a lot from her, and know that in working with her, I will be challenged to work hard to get as fit as possible, but will have fun in the process!

Training with Michelle changed my life. I noticed I was jiggling more than I used to, so I joined the gym to get back into shape. But I knew I wouldn’t have the self- discipline to exercise regularly without the accountability of a trainer.

My gym paired me with Michelle, and she was a perfect match for my training needs. She designs custom routines to help me reach my personal fitness goals. And she regularly modifies them to keep my interest and maintain the physical challenge. She encourages through her likeable personality and and contagious excitement about fitness.

When I hit a plateau and became discouraged, she cheered me on and helped me figure out the cause: I wasn’t eating enough to compensate for all the calories I was burning—I needed to eat MORE, which was awesome! She then helped me pair my exercise and eating- habits to maximize results.

I’ve seen my body-fat decrease and muscle tone and flexibility improve; my stress-level is reduced, and I sleep better than I have in years. The results are certainly impressive, but I’ve kept training with Michelle for two years because I feel like I am exercising with a good friend—just one who knows way more about exercise than I do. I highly recommend her for anyone at any fitness level.

Derek! Thank you so very very much. I am so happy you trusted me to help you! Two years flew by, but I guess it's true, "time flies when you're having fun". I will miss you tons!
