Much of my adult life I was overweight. Working on my own, I dropped 60 pounds and got interested in helping others – I became a Certified Personal Trainer. I’ve worked successfully with a wide range of clients, but three groups are a specialty: 1. Women 40+ who seek life changing vitality by increasing strength, mobility, flexibility. 2. Male Software Engineers 25-45 who want to gain lean muscle mass and increase longevity by dropping excess body fat. 3. Seniors 60+ often dealing with issues of balance, mobility, strength and fear of injury.
Eric is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also a NASM Certified Specialist in Corrective Exercise, Performance Enhancement, Senior Fitness and Weight Loss. He is a Certified TRX Coach, holding 6 qualifications within the TRX Suspension Training System. Eric is an FMS Certified Specialist for the Functional Movement Screen (FMS Level 1) and the Functional Capacity Screen (FCS). He a Certified Tai Chi Instructor through the Tai Chi for Health Institute.
Eric has been training clients since 2011. He has 2 years of experience working with orthopedic injury and chronic pain patients in a medically based Functional Restoration Program. Additionally, he continues to train individual clients and small groups at various gym settings from Santa Cruz to Santa Clara, CA.
