Debbie Bellenger

Debbie Bellenger, MA, is the Wellness Director at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC. Debbie holds a masters degree in Recreation Management and Sports Administration, undergraduate degrees in Physical Education and Health Education. Debbie is a TRX STC Trainer and Reebok Master Trainer, she also continues to offer continuing education workshops as requested from local facilities, customized to their needs. Full time, she is responsible for improving the population health of the 3800 employees of CaroMont health and creating the model to take out into the local communitiy via employer groups, parish groups and local community/civic groups. Recently CaroMont presented in Orlando, FL. the first year of their wellness journey/programs at the IHI (Institute for Healthcare Improvement) convention to 6000 delegates! Locally, CaroMont was just awarded the North Carolina Healthy Community Award for making the greatest change in local health in the State of NC!
