Despite a lifelong history of strength training and active involvement in various sports including alpine skiing and volleyball, Don did not race his first triathlon until the age of 37. He was instantly hooked and completed five races in that first year. During the years that followed, Don volunteered as a mentor for the LLS Team in Training’s Central PA Triathlon Team and completed dozens of additional triathlons. Don holds a USA Triathlon Level 1 Coaching certification, is a National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, and is TRX Suspension Training Qualified. He is also a senior at California University of PA, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Wellness and Fitness.

    I’ve been working with Don for almost two years. With my work and home schedule I was finding it really hard to schedule time to work out and when I did, I had no idea what I was doing. Don makes scheduling easy and is very attentive if I need to make changes. He designed my workouts to be tailored to my goals. We’ve worked muscle groups I never knew I had! I’ve built great relationships with other clients that Don has that I’ve met who come in before and after me and can see each person has their own specifically designed program. I highly recommend Don and Reach For More!

    I've been working out with Don at Reach for More for over a year now. He helps keeps me motivated and on track with the goals we set, which is not a easy task with me!!!! Hands down the best trainer I've ever worked with.

    I am a big fan of Don's and would recommend him to anyone who would like to improve in their fitness abilities. Whether you are competing at the highest level or someone like me who just wanted to achieve a life long dream post hip replacement. I decided to do an Ironman and knew that in order to complete this dream i needed an excellent trainer who knew my limitations and could train me accordingly.
    Don kept me motivated throughout my 6 months of training and had me in the best shape i had been in years. With his help I was able to achieve my goal injury free!
    He is knowledgeable, motivating and an all around great person!

    I have trained with Don for over 8 years. The workouts are very well planned and always fresh with new ideas. The atmosphere at the Reach facility is welcoming, clean, and friendly. Don is fantastic professional trainer and an overall great guy. If using a scale of 1 - 10, I would rate him an 11.

    Don is an outstanding trainer. He commits time to understand the needs of the individual and pushes enough to ensure the workout moves his client in the direction of their goals. His expertise in fitness blends knowledge of human physiology and smart eating behaviors to offer knowledge useful and easy to follow by his clients. He has in-house partners that offer additional expertise and support, allowing the client to choose a single location for multiple personal development and support capabilities. I enjoyed my sessions with Don and highly recommend him to anyone at any level that wants to improve their overall fitness.
