Boot camp fitness classes and Debbie's approach to total cross body training changed my outlook on working out. I had not done any push ups since high school, and never ran until I started her classes. I am stronger now and in better shape than I was 15 years ago. Debbie is challenging but had a knack for pushing me further than I thought I could possibly go. I enjoy the group class atmosphere but also found myself running with fellow boot campers outside of class. I have done several races now, including a half marathon and a fitalthon. Joining Debbie and her boot camp fitness classes really changed my life.

A few years ago, I lost some weight and thought that getting some exercise would be a “good” idea. Debbie’s class regularly ran by my house so I decided to join up. I went into this thinking that, at age 51 with almost no exercise history, there wouldn’t be much that I could do. In virtually no time, I learned that Debbie was certifiably crazy. Her passion for fitness and exercise drove all of us to do so much than we ever thought possible. By 53, she’d convinced me that there wasn’t anything that I couldn’t do. Because of her, I’m now 56 and continually looking for the “next” big challenge. She changed my life forever and there’s no going back.

Similar to Amy, Debbie, her classes, her knowledge and advice of both fitness and nutrition, and her motivation have honestly changed my life as well. I am a completely different person than I was 3 years ago when I first met her. She will provide any help and assistance anyone needs! (Just recently helped me overcome and eliminate horrible cramping while training for a marathon!) She is an excellent trainer and provides the most useful nutrition advice!

Debbie's classes seriously changed my life. In 1 year, I lost about 30 lbs, did the first push up of my life (then thousands more!), and started looking for races. She inspired us with her intensity, but also posed appropriate challenges, moving us from 4 mile races to triathlons, Tough Mudders, and my first marathon last year (after 5 years of Bootcamp). Her approach is truly total body-- strengthening, speed, agility, flexibility, and balance. It's like Crossfit but more personal, like the best of personal trainer with the motivation of a group. Just knowing Debbie is around will make you work harder and eat better just to not disappoint her. I miss it now that she's left CT!

There aren't that many instructors who can get you in shape as fast and completely as Deb! I was in shape in a few months and then spent 5 more years building my strength, flexibility and balance with her. Every class is different. Every muscle gets attention. Her class lets me focus on nothing except what my body can do. Life outside of class got much easier as I could lift, run and move better. Being in shape with her classes is so much fun!
