I have had the great pleasure of working with Deb for the past year and a half; first through the Live Healthy Iowa Dream team and for the last 9 months as a personal coach.I have also done a teleclass series and a program on aging. I am presently enrolled in her webinar classes.
In the beginning, I was pretty hesitant about having a coach but Deb has managed to change my perspective. She brings a wealth of knowledge with her in whatever she is doing. Things I value most from Deb besides her experience is her dedication to staying up-to-date with current research and education and her concern for prevention of injuries. I know I am getting the most current information available. I also appreciate her openness, honesty, and her great sense of humor. I know she has my best interest in mind when making decisions. I'm not sure where I would be without her help.

Debra was my personal training Director for 8 years, when she started we were doing about 150k per year. When she left we were doing 850k per year. She hired, trained, and scheduled the entire personal training staff, and also marketed and designed all programs. In my experience of 35 years in the fitness industry, she is as complete of a finished product that I have ever seen! She conducted sales meetings, role played with trainers, and did all program designs. If you want to be a better trainer, or you need to improve your training program, she is your answer!! 6 stars.

My challenge when I had foot surgery was to figure out how to do some cardio exercise while not being able to bear weight on my foot. Deb suggested that a swim lesson would be a good idea. She gave me a swim analysis and designed a program of laps to reach optimum heart rate. Deb is exceptional in assessing, designing, communicating, adapting, and involving her audience, whether that is a one-on-one personal trainee, a staff of personal trainers, or a local group interested in hearing about the latest and best available information about diet, exercise, and active aging. Deb engages. Everyone wants to listen.

Debra was our choice for a personal trainer; she's instructed, encouraged and been keenly aware of our strengths and areas of concern. Prior to her assistance we were somewhat involved with our own exercise program. Her thoughtful, articulate and thorough instruction has provided us incentive that prior was less than 100%. We continue on our own with thoughts of her vibrancy and enthusiasm
foremost in mind.
