I have been in been in involved in some form of fitness my entire life. Starting at 13 I joined a gym and began lifting weights. Through high school I rode my bike to school, played tennis, ran track , did gymnastics and was on the song squad. I found when I did exercise, my challenges in life diminished much more. I carried that with me through college and until the present day. I still always try and make room for some kind of daily fitness. I enjoy volleyball, tennis, yoga, cycling, swimming, running and other fun activities. If I don't stay active it seems my attitude shows it. I never want to start a bad habit, so I stay on a regular regime. I know how easy it is to let one day slide which leads to another and another. After twenty-two years as a massage therapist I realized I was giving my clients information on the benefits of having a healthy lifestyle through exercise. I decided to get certified in personal training, group training and post re-hab, and Pilates, through ACE, AFAA, Total Gym and Balanced Body. There are many modalities to fitness. I design programs which are specific to my clients needs. I also visit with your doctor or physical therapists. We work together as a team! Your success is my success! You will discover such benefits of fitness such as Posture Practice, Body Mechanics, Injury Prevention and the benefits of maintaining an exercise program. We cover various components of exercise such as Flexibility, Balance, Muscular Strength and Endurance, Cardiovascular Endurance, Skill Related Fitness, Anaerobic and Body Composition.” Knowledge is Power”! I aim to educate you on your body! I welcome you to ask me any questions. I hope I can inspire you to live a quality life through improved awareness of your movement patterns, thereby empowering YOU in all facets of your daily living! ~Deborah McDevitt CPT, MT

I really appreciate Deborah's approach to exercise. Prior to taking me on, she had a consultation with me to determine my medical limitations, if any, my expectations, my goals, and what I was willing to put into a program with her. My first class with her was more than I could have hoped for and worked areas of my body which obviously had not been worked in a while. I think she is extremely patient with older clients and is so enthusiastic that it rubs off. I would highly recommend Deborah.

Deborah has been working as a trainer for my 82-year-old husband and has made a truly wonderful change in our lives. My husband has been ill and on a number of medications for several years and growing weaker from the effects of not feeling well enough to get off the couch or out of the house much. With the help of Deborah's optimism and encouragement he has been doing exercises to improve his strength and going on walks with her. She has tailored the exercises specifically for him and to my amazement he looks forward to these workouts. Deborah is clearly an expert in her field, and her kindness and thoughtful attention to the emotional aspects of her work make her extraordinary.

Deborah has changed my life. She has helped me physically, mentally and emotionly She is teaching me about my whole body and that I don't have to be in pain. She has helped me with a routine that I do daily and then at the training sessions she fills in exercises depending on my pains, weakness and my emotions that day. Now all I have to do is keep this up for rest of my life. That is not easy to do but I know Deborah will be there for me.
