I am a ACE certified Advanced Health & Fitness Specialist,ACE certified Personal Trainer, and Level2 TRX Trainer with seventeen years of experience in the field of personal training. I am self-employed and the owner of ProActive Fitness LLC, a private personal training studio in Beavercreek, Ohio. My focus is on fitness conditioning for golf, preventative and post rehab (post treatment) exercise training for medical conditions and injury recovery, corrective exercise, functional fitness, and the individual undertaking exercise as a new endeavor. My goal is to help you move better, feel better , and perform better. Moving better means less risk of falls and injury, less pain and discomfort, and improvement in performing daily and leisure-time activities.     Dave's attention to detail makes him a fantastic personal trainer. He watches every move to determine that each part of your body involved in the exercise is getting the appropriate movement to prevent any possibility of working the wrong muscles, or potentially hurting yourself. His routines have lots of variety so that you don't get bored or tired of a particular set of exercises. Mostly what makes Dave a fantastic trainer is how caring he is. His personal interest in each of his clients separates him from those people who are just doing training, and not really loving what they do. I highly recommend him

    As an avid golfer who has experienced back & flexibility issues for many years, I was referred to Dave by a friend who trains with Dave. Dave is extremely attentive & observant, making sure each exercise is performed safely. I am impressed with Dave's ability to develop an exercise regimen taking into consideration my particular physical condition in a sequence to achieve our goals.

    I trained with Dave when I was in Dayton the summer of 2011. He was a good communicator and developed a program that improved strength and flexibility with out being excessive. It was an excellent experience.

    I started training with dave almost two years ago. I have been to other gyms and worked with other trainers and none of them were as professional and caring as Dave. He is very attentive and is helpful in making sure you are doing what you are supposed to while working out. I would highly reccomend him to anyone!!

    I started training with Dave Hannan 4 years ago, and it was a great decision. Our workouts have improved my balance, strength and agility - not to mention my self-confidence. The training facility he built is so much better than going to a gym, and he has a wide range of equipment. In addition to being a skilled trainer, Dave is a genuinely caring person who gives each client his best. If you are looking for a trainer who can show you how to get to where you need to be, you won't find anyone better.
