Most of us have great bodies at 18... slim, pain-free, resistant to illness and injury. By 68, we might groan about our soft midsection, our bum knee, or our high blood sugar.

We might call these changes "aging", but most of what we call "aging" is actually an accumulation of lifestyle habits.

The soft midsection, the bum knee, the high blood sugar are often the result of: a chronic sweet tooth; a lifetime of following the "always finish your plate" rule... no matter how big the plate; and lots of sitting, which allowed those knee supporting muscles to atrophy.

Another 68-year-old who practiced habits like mindful eating, regular movement, strength training, and a nutritious diet might not see those symptoms appear much later, or perhaps ever.

There is no reason to be afraid of exercise, I am here to help you every step of the way.

You don't need to be doing an extreme exercise program to get in shape. I believe in safe, effective workouts that will improve your balance, strength, mobility and flexibility.

Healthy eating is very important if you want to be healthy and fit. I recommend that everyone start with my online nutrition program.

I work with people new to exercise and healthy eating. Get the support you need to make better choices.

Build fitness into your life, without it taking over. I recommend 30 minute sessions for most clients.

I offer In-home Personal Training in the Capitol Hill, Penn Quarter, Navy Yard and Downtown sections of Washington D.C., but people all over the world are taking advantage of my Online Coaching Programs.

I had the extraordinary pleasure of working with David and I was immediately taken to his calm, patient, and knowledge of body training and nutrition. He is a professional. Having worked with him has encouraged me to continue to make exercise and nutrition "a lifestyle." I value David's genuine commitment as an outstanding trainer, extensive knowledge of plant-based nutrition, and warm personality. His enthusiasm highlights his competence, strengths and abilities that I am confident will ensure him to continue to excel. I would recommend David as a trainer, coach!

    Thank you Lyn.

David's patience and support helped make my new leg of my fitness journey easy. Having always been active aerobically, I wanted to focus more on weight training. He met me at the level of my need, and offered good advice on ways I could supplement my training. We have very similar interests in and experiences related to health and wellness dietary protocols--such a bonus because I believe you have to incorporate movement with the right dietary regimen. He knows the power of a plant-based approach to eating and being well and generously shares his wisdom in that regard, as well. Cheers!

    Thanks Lori!

I had never worked with a personal trainer before and I sought out David not only because of his stellar reputation as a trainer, but also because of his extensive knowledge of plant-based nutrition. That combination was rare and phenomenal for me as a 30-year vegan! What I most loved about working with David, though, in addition to developing the muscle tone and fitness level I was seeking, was his warm personality and sincere interest in my overall well-being. David's the best!

David's approach to training is a holistic body, mind, and spirit approach. In the four months that we have been working together, I have experienced not only increased strength, flexibility and weight loss, but I have also witnessed a greater personal awareness of the health and nutrition decisions made on a daily basis that impact my overall energy and wellness. David is well educated in the science of health and nutrition and he is very adept at adding an education component to the fitness regime. I highly recommend David as a personal trainer.

During my training with David I discovered a lot about my body, my physical limits and fitness in general. David definitely pushed me to become healthier and physically fit through training and nutrition coaching. I've had trainers in the past, but none with as much knowledge and experience as David. He pushes you to be the healthiest person you can be. I recommend him to anyone who needs the extra push in meeting their health (and body) goals, you will not be disappointed!

Thanks Christopher. I appreciate your feedback.
