After establishing a fitness club as early on as 16 years old, I joined the United States Army and became a member of a Special Operations Unit. After spending almost 4 years in the service I received an honorable discharge and began obtaining as many certifications as possible including my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Today I continue to expand my education in the health industry and I've completed my Master Fitness Trainer Certification through both NFPT & NESTA making me one of the few double certified Master Trainers in the United States. These certifications put me among the top 1/10th of 1% of all certified trainers in the U.S. according to the NCCA (the accrediting agency of all training certfications). I am now currently working towards my graduate degree in exercise physiology.

Not only do I have Multiple Sclerosis (I am still capable of being fully mobile) but had been in an accident resulting in a compound fractured ankle and a 'boxers fracture' to my left hand. I was the poster child (adult :o) for couch potato!
Knowing that I needed help, my husband (with my full support) researched and found Dan. After some delay and in spite of being very afraid of failing but realizing I had to do something. I contacted Dan.
I initially signed on for 25 in-home sessions. A couple of days ago I signed on for an additional 50. So, let's just say that he is terrific. He works with me very well and is aware of my limits, never pushing, but always encouraging. He is very knowledgeable about MS and has brought me to a point where I am more active than I have been in years. His positive attitude has made me believe in myself and given me the confidence to continue. I truly believe that I will see those elusive ABS again one day!
I recommend him highly to anyone and everyone!! I must say he is super nice and respectful yet very FUN fellow.

I trained for two years with Dan, and only terminated due to a move out of San Diego. Dan is an excellent trainer. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he is a great motivator, always keeping our workouts challenging, but fun. When I had injuries, he always had great recommendations on how to address them, even referring me to a fabulous chiropractor in the area. Dan is a high-quality trainer, but he is also a high-quality person.

Dan is a superstar trainer. He has made me more athletic, stronger and motivated while paying careful attention to my injuries. I definitely recommend Dan to help you reach your goals, whatever they are.

Dan is a wonderful trainer. My husband and I have been training with him for about a year now. He's very competent, knows his field, and extremely personable as well. He listens to your feedback, injuries, weaknesses (my back is hurting, I'm feeling tired, this muscle is tight, or that) and will work around (and help you recover from) all of these as he designs your work out for you. He'll push you to exercise harder than you think is possible while making sure not to let you injure yourself too. He turns into a friend very quickly as well.
